Beautiful testimony

This is a beautiful testimony that could only have been read by the author himself. While I wasn’t familiar with a lot of Billy’s work before reading, the story is so relatable that I could appreciate his experiences. I also enjoyed the bits where he sang which provided a lovely peek at his talent!

Not as good as her 1st book

I didn’t enjoy this book as much as her first. This one has no storyline and takes a bit of a preachy tone. It’s is more a collection of essays than a book. Some parts are about her lived experience and those were the best parts. But other sections are just her espousing her opinions. These were not so well integrated within a storyline.

This book should be required reading for all political leaders. It demonstrates how to lead for the people and for a cause that one truly believes in, with humility and honor. Something that seems to so often allude our political leaders in America today.

Funny and touching

This is the first book that I’ve listened to in one day! She tells such an interesting and funny yet human story that everyone can identify with on some level at some point in their life. This book is laugh out loud funny but so interesting I couldn’t stop listening. I wasn’t that familiar with Tiffany’s work except for Girl’s Trip, but still totally relatable. Now I can’t wait to catch her comedy on stage.

Outstanding!

I think this book is one that is best heard rather than read. Hearing Trevor speak so many languages fluently and do his impressions of the many people in his life mad this book incredibly enjoyable. He tells a great story in a mesmerizing way. I had a hard time putting the book down!
