The Year That Broke Politics By: Luke A. Nichter may be a decent read but the narration and production of this product may be the worst I’ve ever had as a nearly 15 year audible user.

This is one of my favorite books of all time. I downloaded it expecting the entire book. Alas, several chapters were missing. What was especially disheartening was the efforts and innovations that were ommitted. The entire story needs to be told, not just excerpts. A very important moment in our history was not given its due.

Dr. Elsburg shared his perspectives amd insider knowledge of the madness of nuclear planning. Omniscide...it was informative but took a long time to get there. alot of redundance. perhaps that was necessary to demonstrate how long these plans have existed. interesting perspective on "use" of nuclear weapons as well.

exceptional story and exposure of U.S. Grant. a bona fide leader and hero by all acco nuts, this book aptly captures who Grant was and puts to rest the century + rhetoric of his bashing. Noteworthy and a must read.

conscientious but apologetic. sure, some tidbits and revelations but by and large nothing new. I think it did take courage to expose the DNC and she did.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

It had a lot of the exercise is the answer mantra and while there may be some connection, there are studies and information that says exercise is not the panacea so many profess it to be.

If you’ve listened to books by Sylvia Tara before, how does this one compare?

first one

Could you see The Secret Life of Fat being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

no

Any additional comments?

There was some good information in the beginning of the book. Was especially interested in more information about Beige fat. That said it seemed to glance over and get mired in the excess calories are the culprit and exercise is the answer. I may have to re listen to see if I missed anything. Ambitious start but meandering at the end.

You Can't Predict a Hero Audiolibro Por Joseph J. Grano, Mark Levine arte de portada

profound no BS leadership

This man clearly has something provocative to say. Excellent American can do story. A provoking, intellectual, and quite frankly emotional point of view about becoming successful, remaining grounded, and giving back. It's a shame all our elected leaders do not have the mettle and integrity of Joe Grano. The best book on true leasdership I have read in years.
