Historia
Meet Jim Carrey. Sure, he's an insanely successful and beloved movie star drowning in wealth and privilege — but he's also lonely. Maybe past his prime. Maybe even...getting fat? He's tried diets, gurus, and cuddling with his military-grade Israeli guard dogs, but nothing seems to lift the cloud of emptiness and ennui. Even the sage advice of his best friend, actor, and dinosaur skull collector Nicolas Cage isn't enough to pull Carrey out of his slump.

Questions!
Revisado: 07-23-20
I first listened to it 3/4 of the way, then, fascinated by the whole thing, spent half the night googling questions I had and the following day relistened to it from the beginning to the end.... and im going to do it again lol. I work while I listen, so sometimes I miss stuff, but wow what a ride! I think it was brilliantly written, the style is fantastic, and I loved the 3rd person viewpoint. The narrator definitely lacked when making Jims words come alive, though, he was quite dull and not appropriate for the style of book being read. But that cannot take away from how entertaining and fascinating I found it, leaving me with many many questions as to which parts were fictional, stretched, exaggerated... and which parts really were the truth.

Historia
Amid escalating nuclear tensions, Kim Jong-un and North Korea's other leaders have kept a tight grasp on their one-party state, quashing any nascent opposition movements and sending all suspected dissidents to its brutal concentration camps for "re-education". Kang Chol-Hwan is the first survivor of one of these camps to escape and tell his story to the world, documenting the extreme conditions in these gulags and providing a personal insight into life in North Korea.

Historia
Stephen King returns to the characters and territory of one of his most popular novels ever, The Shining, in this instantly riveting novel about the now middle-aged Dan Torrance (the boy protagonist of The Shining) and the very special 12-year-old girl he must save from a tribe of murderous paranormals. This is an epic war between good and evil, a gory, glorious story that will thrill the millions of hyper-devoted fans of The Shining and wildly satisfy anyone new to the territory of this icon in the King canon.

Expected Better
Revisado: 11-24-17
Seems he wrote this just because as a sequel to the shining it would sell. Nothing even similar to the shining other then mental communication, really. The first three hours can be summed up by one word....Boring. I learned more about alcohol anonymous then I care about. Lot of things were repeated constantly and unnecessarily. King has his marvels, but he has some flops too. This was a flop. Definitely could have been better.
Would of loved more hedge animals too. They made the shining rock. Can't say I wasn't hoping for a bit more of those....

Historia
Across Stockholm the power grid has gone crazy. In the morgue and in cemeteries, the recently deceased are waking up. One grandfather is alight with hope that his grandson will be returned, but one husband is aghast at what his adored wife has become. A horror novel that transcends its genre by showing what the return of the dead might really mean to those who loved them.

Excellent Zombie Concept
Revisado: 11-22-17
It was a great veer off the road of normal zombie stories. Could of definitely been longer. The story starts getting brilliantly creepy and then kinda comes to a sudden, not very satisfying, end. It was an excellent story that just could of been flushed out and continued. I wasn't done with it yet, and it feels like there was a lot more that could of happened. And I just gotta say that this John Lindqvist is one of the best authors to make me feel serious emotion concerning kids. Worth reading, or rather listening to.
