an insane amount of detail that goes nowhere

The author of this book dedicated much of his life to this subject and reports an endless stream of details names situations etc. it became frustrating by halfway through the book that I realized it wasn't going to go anywhere. there were going to be no conclusions. they're just going to be a hodgepodge of tons of data more confusing than when you started. I did learn that my suspicions that you can't trust the government or any of the three letter agencies is true. it's been true for decades. May the God of heaven punish these wicked men and rid their name from the earth forever.

I have been a Christian for 30 years and this book has answered most of my eschatological questions. thank you Doug. I do not agree with Calvinism but I do agree with what you wrote in this book. thank you for your help in understanding it.

Matt you hit it out of the park. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this book. We western Christians out here needed to hear everything you said. It woke me up big time. I listened to almost the entire book while riding home from a camping trip. It rocked my world and shook me into reality. I am going to be a better Christian now and follower of Christ.

From a huge skeptic. It works!

my mother told me about this book. Her doctor mentioned it to her. Out of curiosity I bought it and listened to it. it just made sense to me for some reason. oh my, does it work. I have lost almost 10 pounds in 2 months. I stopped talking during this time because I didn't think I would have energy. the cool thing is you can eat what you want when you want. you just have to take a break on the fast days. It's almost nice to skip food a day or two a week because you can catch up on other things. You just have some hunger pangs a few times during the day but Big deal. So many benefits such a small sacrifice and you still get to eat what you want. Win win.

Good tips on tidying but spiritually wacked out!

This book contains some good tips on cleaning the junk out of your environment, organizing the things that you want to keep and related issues.

But, the spiritual connotations are silly. For example, the author suggest that you thank your belongings for their faithful service, that you ask your house where things belong and to make your home a "power spot", etc.

These kinds of comments betraya pantheistic worldview. Sort of odd that this message was conveyed in a tidying up book.
