Historia
This collection comprises another 40 stories by and inspired by the originators of weird fiction. From White's seminal body-shocker, Lukundoo, through to Howard's dastardly Pigeons from Hell, and Benson's nightmarish The Room in The Tower. Time immemorial; worlds unimaginable.

Historia
Now a student at Wurthaven, Will is confronted with the truth of the present. The powerful magic embodied by wizards like his grandfather is but a distant memory. Though the practice of the current day is timid and uninspired, Will needs the knowledge that’s preserved and managed by the college. At every turn he finds that sorcery is supreme, while wizards are trained merely to assist and support those who hold the real power - a power based on an evil so deep that few who are living know the truth of its foundation.

One of the best books I've read
Revisado: 01-23-21
I loved the narrator, characters, and story. For sure worth the credit, no doubt. The world and magic is unique and well written, each character has growth and the past has many layers of story. I listened to the first and second book back to back and highly recommend it that way. These books are one of a very few that had me invested in the characters and had me on pins and needles. I would get nervous and have to trust the author for some plot points. I have read many books, and very few have managed to be such a ride along the paths of imagination and story craft. This is my first ever book review, of many books, because I cannot underestimate the enjoyment I got from these two novels. I await the next book eagerly, to say the least.
