The problem is just that we haven’t been taught how to think in a way that sets us up for success in life. You don’t learn it in school, but what is it really that separates the successful people from the unsuccessful, the wealthy from the poor, the healthy from the unhealthy, and the happy from the unhappy? Is it their life circumstances or their actions? Sure, those things definitely play a role. But, perhaps, even more so, they are separated by the way they think.

This book gave many great ideas for encouraging a child's positive mindset and motivating them to be successful citizens. it was a good reminder of phrases and habits that encourage resilience, employability, and setting achievable goals. i can see it helping parents whose kids are "perfectionists" or seemingly unmotivated to learn.

As the story progressed, the pieces started coming together. However, the numerous characters and their situations were jumbled in the first half of the book. The use of different people for the voices might have helped. Overall, the story was suspenseful and satisfying in the end.

Knowing the format of the TV show this performance was based upon, I got a kick out of this production. The story was predictable. but satisfying.. The scene changes were understandable & cut just right. It was a guilty pleasure to listen to this novella.
