I would not recommend this book at all. The biggest problem is the story: about every 2 hours a new psychic power is given to yet another character -- just in the nick of time to save this character or that character. It is also just a bunch of love stories with a lot of breathless dialogue that didn't move the plot along very much. The reader is a bit of a problem as well. She couldn't seem to let us know whether the character speaking was male or female. I think if I were a teenager I might have enjoyed it more.

I think I chose to purchase this audio book because of the Hitchcock film of the same name. I hadn't ever read the actual book and so didn't know what I was getting into. Alas, the whole experience was disappointing because of how dated everything was: story, narration and sound quality. Sigh. I had high hopes.

Overwrought to the point of pain

Perhaps it was Mr Brick's performance - perhaps it was the novel itself -- but if ever hear a character say, "you're not listening" again it'll be too soon. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
