Historia
As the PT for the Bringham Bobcats, he knows they're loud, cocky, and more trouble than they're worth. Not to mention painful reminders of the career ripped from his grasp a decade ago—a past he's desperate to leave behind. All he needs to do is finish his business course and open his own practice to be free of hockey forever. It's all going according to plan, until a dirty-mouthed young hotshot who won't take no for an answer waltzes into his office, and Jamie's forced to reconsider whether he's ready to give up on the game.

The Narrator made it unlistenable
Revisado: 01-03-25
I really enjoyed this book.
The story was great and I really cared for the characters and wanted them to succeed and find love in each other.
However, the narrator doing Bowies voice made it unlistenable. The choices he made for the characters not being Bowie made them all sound ... there's no nice way of describing how he made them sound. I couldn't stand it.

I’ve never been romantic. Just ask my ex-wife. Since she broke up with me, I get my needs met any time I want, without putting my heart on the line. Exactly how I like it. But when she is called overseas and leaves me with our child, my bachelor lifestyle ends faster than you can say, “Daddy, I want a pony.” I need help. Problem is, help’s come in the form of an incredibly hot nanny. My employee. Who is much younger than me. And also...a guy.

I thought there was only one thing I needed to make me happy. I was so sure becoming a rock star would heal the dark corners inside me. But every time I walk onto the stage, with a roaring crowd screaming my name, all I can think about is the boy I left behind. All I want to do is rewind and make a different choice.

When he decides to win Nate back he knows it won't be easy. The last thing he expects is a health scare, a road trip and a vicious snow storm to work in his favor. In the end, a cabin in the woods turns out to be not only the shelter they desperately need, but also Quinn's very own Christmas miracle.

It was me, not the book.
Revisado: 11-22-19
*got this audiobook from the author in exchange of an honest review*
So, I am not one of those people reading a book on my kindle and then listening to it. I’m not a person who are using my kindle more than I absolutely have to, call me old school if you want. With that said, this is the first time I read Snowed in. And I sort of liked it.
Let’s start with the great things:
It’s Christmasy, and I am a sucker for everything Christmas.
It’s hot, oh so very hot.
The writing are amazing. I have never been disappointed by Teodora’s style of writing. Never.
However,
This book didn’t really click with me. I found it too slow. And almost a bit cold. I didn’t really connect with any of the characters and that made it a bit hard for me to get into the mood of the book.
There was a lot of things happening. A lot of drama and all I wanted to know was why Quinn ran away.
So I don’t know. It’s probably me, not the book.

The story is okay. Just like the first one, a little on the short side.
However, I wasn’t a fan of the narration on this one. Especially not the horrible phone call thingy.

Lovable characters
Revisado: 10-13-19
I’m having a hard time knowing how to rate this one. I liked it so, so much but at the same time there was a lot of things that I didn’t really like.
Bryce and Dakota was amazing characters. Like really, amazing. To be honest all of the characters were amazing. I’m going to miss all of them. I love insta love stories and this is one of the best ones I’ve read so far.
However.
I wasnt 100% sure of the writing. Something about one chapter ending and the other starting right the second after felt weird to me.
I read a lot of reviews about this being low on angst but I don’t agree. Dakota was so much in his head freaking out. And the way he freaked out when Bryce finally came out, it didn’t work for me.

I loved it, but could’ve been shorter
Revisado: 10-10-19
I fell in love with this story. It’s beautifully written. Asa and Jude are really lovable characters with so much charisma it’s flying around all over the story. And Joel Leslie made them come to life even more. It was an amazing experience.
However. I had some small problems with the story.
1, It could’ve been shorter. It was almost too slow at times.
2, One of the MC’s dating a woman on page. Big no no.
3, The whole “I got badly burned by a man so now I’m only dating women.” It’s old, done too many times and to be frank, a bit homophobic.
The epilogue though. It made me cry.
Overall: Loved it. So much better than the first book in this series.

Historia
Out-and-proud volunteer dance instructor, Reid Alexander, is a California boy accustomed to living in flashy luxury. He is less than thrilled upon inheriting his late grandfather’s South Dakota horse ranch. Yet, he must endure three months of cowboy hell before he can even consider selling the property. As the ranch foreman, Walker Corrigan’s entire life is Pine Ridge. When Reid arrives with cold-hearted plans to sell, Walker endeavors to endear the place to the younger man. Reid is unprepared for the sudden attachment to Walker, the land, and - unbelievably enough - the horses.

I loved Reid and Walker
Revisado: 10-08-19
I loved this story. It’s sweet, funny and intense, all at the same time.
I love the settings, the big family of ranch hands and special people. This book just made me so happy. Reid and Walkers connection was instant and powerful. I’ll remember these two characters for a long, long time.
As a dog nerd, I have to give the author Kudos for describing the dogs in a perfect way. Not all authors do that.
The only negative thing I have to say about this book, and what made me give it a four star rating instead of a full five star was the jumps of perspectives. First you had Reid’s point of view and then suddenly Walkers. At one point we randomly had Ezekiel’s point of view ( I totally want his book btw), it was kind of hard to understand who was doing the telling sometimes.
This author is new to me and I’ll definitely check out more of her work.
I got this as an audiobook from the author as part of a huge giveaway and giving my honest review as a thank you.

When Gage Evans gets a look at his hot nurse, he's smitten immediately. Too bad he's given the nurse the impression he's some kind of daredevil. It couldn't be further from the truth. Gage is a college journalism instructor writing a series of guest columns that require him to jump into new experiences - a fun bucket list, but one that does nothing to convince Ben he's not an adrenaline junkie.

A bit overly dramatic
Revisado: 10-05-19
I’ve been wanting to read this book for a long time. So I got super excited when I finally got around to do it.
I liked this book a lot. Gage and Ben are very lovable characters. But, and this is why it wasn’t a full five star read, Ben was a bit too much. I needed him to get out of his head a bit earlier than he did. He freaked out over and over and over and over again.
I’m not sure about the secondary character Zayne having both an abusive dad and stepdad. For me, that kind of homophobia seems a bit too much and over the top. But I guess I’ll get to know more about that in the next book.
The narration was good. A few weird pauses here and there but except that, amazing.

Adam and Luc used to be close. At least they were before Luc distanced himself from Adam at 14, then eventually left home. Adam never got over the sting of betrayal, or the loss of his one-time best friend. When Luc is invited back home to help get his parents' failing dance school back on track, Adam isn't sure he can cope with having his stepbrother back in his life. Something was off
Revisado: 09-30-19
Something was a bit off about this one. I liked it. Adam and Luc are amazing characters. There was no transition from step brothers to boyfriends. Its like the author tried so hard to rub the step brothers trope in to her story that she forgot the rest.
