Still reeling form the events of the last book, Shelby is struggling to get excited about anything. Duty, however, calls. A client wants her to follow an ex-convict so that they can kill them. Manetto is being targeted by someone who is turning people in his organization against him, hacking his accounts, and harassing his businesses. Detective Harris has been tasked with solving a cold case regarding a gas station who was murdered. As Shelby looks into the different cases, they all start linking and interfering with each other, causing her to have to lie to Detective Harris. Can Shelby fix things with Detective Harris, solve Manetto’s problem, solve a cold case, and keep the deaths, including her own, from happening?

Narrator, Wendy Tremont King’s unique intonations and voices help listeners to easily distinguish characters. Pacing is well done and complements the author’s writing style and pacing. The plot is well-developed, engaging, and humorous. Characters are likable, flawed, and draw the reader into Shelby’s world. World building continues to be masterfully done and mixes the story’s different elements together well. Listeners who like mysteries, other Shelby Nichol novels, humor, and mafia fiction will want to pick this one up.

200 years ago an evil monster drove magical people to live in Other London. After killing her coven members in the nightmare realm, Stella has been seeking out the destruction of the one called Mr. Trick. Narrowly escaping his clutches years before thanks to an eccentric shopkeeper, Giles L’amerie. Now the love of her life, David, is dead and the whole town has heard the monster knocking in their dreams. As a result, he is starting to have a cult of murderous followers attempting to get Giles to let Mr. Trick in his ship for a rematch. Meanwhile, a non-magical person who keeps time traveling in a non-linear fashion is the key to it all. Can Stella get beyond her greatest loss to stop her greatest challenge? Can she and Giles stop Mr. Trick once and for all? Who is Verity and how is she key? Narrators David Bussell and Heather Tracy engage readers with their unique voices and entertaining intonations. They smoothly transition between the lighter and darker parts of the novel. The plot is confusing at first due to its non-linear, fast-paced nature, but it keeps listeners wanting to piece the puzzle together. With lots of plot twists and turns, readers who enjoy fantasy, adventure, horror, and mystery will enjoy listening to this book. You will need to read the London Coven series first, however, to understand what’s going on.

Ever since David used magic to save Stella in the nightmare realm, the dark magic inside of him has turned him into a living bomb. At any time his magic could take over him, explode, and kill everyone. Some think that Stella is too involved to fix the problem and would rather kill David before he explodes. To make matters worse, there is a rogue Succubus who is going on a killing spree. Against all odds, will she be able to save David? Can she stop the Succubus? Narrator, Heather Tracy’s characterizations are distinct and true to the other two books in the series. Her character voices are easy to tell apart and her emotional tones are in sync with what is going on in the book. Her narrative style and pacing quickly pulls the listener into the story. The plot is well-developed and full of plot twists. The ending is satisfying, but still throws in a few surprises listeners won't expect. Fans of dark fantasy, magic, mythical creatures, and thrillers will enjoy listening to this book. You will, however, need to listen to the first two in the series before picking this one up.

Sites like Tinder can help its users to find these types of relationships, but the users have to understand how the apps work. How can one get their profile to stand out while still being honest? Especially when there is one girl for every six guys? From profile to first chat, Chris Hemswith explains the differences between what men and women typically look for in a potential match. He also explains the psychology of photos, what the different types of women are looking for, and how to create an honest, but effective profile for getting a hookup or a longer-lasting relationship. As a result, the listener is forced to rethink how they see themselves and how they present themselves online.

Narrator, Randall Schaffer’s narrative style is smooth and animated is ideal for a non-fiction audiobook. His “conversation-like” voice makes the listener feel like the author is directly talking to them. Hemswith’s use of personal experience and research is not only useful and informative, but it is presented in an easy to understand format. Although his insightful, unique tips are catered towards men and Tinder, they are universally applicable for both genders in any online/in-person dating situation. He also includes results at the end of the book. These not only show how his methods work, but provide hope to listeners. This is a must-have guide for anyone looking to try social media dating or who hasn’t had much luck online.
