Interesting story, good narrator.
Revisado: 03-02-24
This is not the most riveting book I have ever read, but I really did enjoy listening to it overall. The story was pretty good and plausible and I like the narrator's voice.

Still a good listen with inexpert narration
Revisado: 11-03-19
The narrator reads in a sing-song way and mispronounces quite a few words. I almost didn’t listen to the book because of this, but I changed my mind and continued listening. The plot was entertaining and the narration didn’t ruin the overall experience.

The narrator does a great job and the stories are interesting. I bought all the books and have been listening to them for days.

Historia
Bernadette Fox is notorious. To her Microsoft-guru husband, she's a fearlessly opinionated partner; to fellow private-school mothers in Seattle, she's a disgrace; to design mavens, she's a revolutionary architect, and to 15-year-old Bee, she is a best friend and, simply, Mom.
Then Bernadette disappears. It began when Bee aced her report card and claimed her promised reward: a family trip to Antarctica. But Bernadette's intensifying allergy to Seattle - and people in general - has made her so agoraphobic that a virtual assistant in India now runs her most basic errands.

Fabulous Narrator!!!
Revisado: 05-21-17
This narrator is excellent! I have listened to the book twice. The story is entertaining with a few laugh-out-loud moments. But the narration is the best part.

Disgusting
Revisado: 01-13-13
Was The Witness worth the listening time?
The gruesome sadism that was thrown in was unnecessary and unpleasant. I did not think that kind of violence enhanced the story in any way. I felt disappointed and that I had wasted my money on this one. It turned my stomach, to be honest.
