Historia
There is a fine line between right and wrong, good and evil. For years Jason Burke has straddled that line as best he can, always convinced that despite the violence carried out by him and his team they were firmly on the right side of that line. But as he reflects on his time with Omega Force, he begins to have his doubts. When strange happenings from the mysterious Avarian Empire cross the expanse and Jason and Omega Force are pulled into the conflict, they must pick sides between two superpowers

Another great book
Revisado: 02-27-25
I really enjoyed this book, another fun story with a decent ending. My only real nitpick is the lack of wrap up for some characters. The ending felt rushed with the assassination attempt followed by no real goodbye between Jason and the romantic interest of this book. Still was great fun and can’t wait to listen to the next one.

Historia
Just when 17-year-old Matt thinks he can't handle one more piece of terrible news, he meets a girl who’s dealt with a lot more - and who just might be able to clue him in on how to rise up when life keeps knocking him down - in this wry, gritty novel from the author of When I Was the Greatest. Matt wears a black suit every day. No, not because his mom died - although she did, and it sucks.

Arthur Parnassus lives a good life built on the ashes of a bad one. He’s the headmaster of a strange orphanage on a distant and peculiar island, and he hopes to soon be the adoptive father to the six dangerous and magical children who live there. Arthur works hard and loves with his whole heart so none of the children ever feel the neglect and pain that he once felt as an orphan on that very same island so long ago. He is not alone: joining him is the love of his life, Linus Baker, a former caseworker in the Department in Charge of Magical Youth.

Historia
In a strange little home built into the branches of a grove of trees, live three robots—fatherly inventor android Giovanni Lawson, a pleasantly sadistic nurse machine, and a small vacuum desperate for love and attention. Victor Lawson, a human, lives there too. They’re a family, hidden and safe. The day Vic salvages and repairs an unfamiliar android labelled “HAP,” he learns of a shared dark past between Hap and Gio–a past spent hunting humans. When Hap unwittingly alerts robots from Gio’s former life to their whereabouts, the family is no longer hidden and safe.

Disappointing
Revisado: 08-11-21
I loved the first book but this one is either tedious repetition, confusing contradiction, and too much sex. I’m not a prude it’s just really boring and the sex detracted from the story

This audio adaptation takes a superior story and turns it into a masterpiece. The music and stories weave together to create a unique listening experience. I especially loved how all of the different characters were (spoiler alert) brought together in the end for a momentous crescendo of a conclusion
