They are really reaching to make this a crime
Revisado: 08-16-24
Crime Junkie is usually pretty good but this episode is not. They take an obvious accident and try to twist it into a crime. This is a "vault" episode which I guess is usually only for paid members. I wouldn't pay for it anyways but if I was thinking about it, I wouldn't after hearing this

Save your valuable time and don'tisten to this completely fake story. She suggests using high heels to stab targets in the eye
Revisado: 05-01-24
I was initially suspicious that her story was true but I thought it'd be an awesome listen if it were real so I gave it a shot. She tells the story pretty convincingly and unfortunately it took until episode 4 to figure out that it's completely fake. No trained special agent is going to count on her high heels as a weapon. There were other clues but that was the nail in the coffin

Excellent podcast
Revisado: 10-26-23
We love Dolly's music and travel to Dollywood every year. I heard that the podcast discusses Dollywood so I thought it'd be interesting to hear what she says about the park. Of course it's so much more than that. The best part for me was when some radical feminist tries to make Dolly the matriarch of 3rd wave feminism and Dolly recoils and says she's definitely not a feminist and that she loves men too much to be one. The writer and producer have done an excellent job

Serious flaws in what could be a great podcast
Revisado: 02-13-23
They cover some interesting stories and make a good team but I can't listen to any of them all the way through because:
1. They ramble on in a really boring way
2. They make assertions that are obviously silly. In this episode we learn that his coworkers and friend said he was acting strangely and talking about needing to control his ego. We also learn that a girl he happened to barely know gave him a podcst about controlling your ego. Then, they make this cheesy assertion that the big evil corporation could have killed him because they wanted to hide pollution lol.
His family insists that he had no mental illness so he either did and they didn't know it or he took a psychodelic and took off into the desert. It happens semi regularly but usually doesn't lead to a tragic accident

This is a true crime podcast that spares none of the details and delves into what makes these killers tick. Join us for a good mix of lesser known cases as well as our take on what we call the "Big Timers". We don't take ourselves too seriously but we take true crime very seriously.

Bizarre episode
Revisado: 02-10-23
When they are talking about the killer they talk about how he swings back and forth between having sex with men and women and then the hosts act like thats perfectly fine behavior. What kind of bizarre world do they they live in where they consider that just fine, especially when the killer talked about being raped by men when he was a kid. It's not hard to make the connection that that obviously damaged him and it ped to his lifestyle choice. t's usually a good podcast but their going out of their way to make sure everyone knows they're properly woke is going to lose them a fan quick

Making a mystery out of the obvious
Revisado: 01-21-23
I guess they are fetting desperate for cases because the hosts are starting to do more and more stories that have obvious perpetrators. What's worse is that they muddy the background of some of the victims to create they mystery when it's obvious too that they were involved with bad people

Respect for his service but not his wokeness
Revisado: 01-11-23
After listening to the book and finally getting to the "America isn't fair" part and about how maybe he'll run for office to fix it I realized that this book is likely just a precursor for a political office run. There's no doubt in my mind that he is the typical leftist that whines about unfairness while maintaining his comfy lifestyle. This was a free "included" title but if I had paid for it, I would seriously want my money back. I found myself cherry picking chapters that sounded interesting but even when doing that, it was still terribly dry with long winded explanations of nothing important. He served his country honorably and deserves some respect for that but he still, in the end, lacks an understanding of the country that he thinks "needs fixing". Do not waste a dime on this book, you will be disappointed

True crime with a side of leftist politics
Revisado: 10-26-22
Podcast was ok, a lot of potential, but I won't listen to another one because the hosts can't make a podcast without inserting their leftists views. In this episode, a leftist judge slaps a couple of murderers on the wrist and they blame that fact on the fact that he's an old white man. They aren't even bright enough to realize that it's his leftism, not his age or race, that made him make the decision. He's on their side!

Red meat for Atheists who hate Christianity
Revisado: 09-08-22
I would liken this story to a murder mystery that you finish and then laugh at because it makes no sense and is totally unrealistic. Despite the obvious bigoted Christian bashing the story was interesting so I kept reading, hoping that it would be at least a good story in the end. Nope, it just ends with you wondering whether you somehow missed the ending chapters. Open ended books can be fine but this one is not. So, if you're a bigoted Atheist who doesn't mind cheezy stories and endings, this ones for you
