Historia
Once vast swathes of the globe were coloured imperial red and Britannia ruled not just the waves, but the prairies of America, the plains of Asia, the jungles of Africa and the deserts of Arabia. Just how did a small, rainy island in the North Atlantic achieve all this? And why did the empire on which the sun literally never set finally decline and fall?

Historia
Jonah Lehrer arms us with the tools we need to figure out how we decide, drawing on cutting-edge research by Daniel Kahneman, Colin Camerer, and others, as well as the real-world experiences of a wide range of "deciders" - from airplane pilots and hedge fund investors to serial killers and poker players. Lehrer shows how people are taking advantage of the new science to make better television shows, win more football games, and improve military intelligence.

Nothing new

What would have made How We Decide better?
Not existing.
There are already lots of books like "How We Decide" out there, so for me it only adds to the clutter. Feel like I wasted time reading it.
It seems more worthwhile to read the originals, where Lehrer went to seek many examples, like Kahneman's "Thinking, Fast and Slow" or Ariely's "Predictably Irrational". (If you have read these already, you will recognize many examples.)
Also, there are a bit too many examples about specific sports games, and Lehrer went on a little too long about the pilots & airplanes examples; not too many people will be able to relate to it. (As opposed to Schwartz' "Paradox of Choice", which is full of situational examples we're all familiar with.)
Would you ever listen to anything by Jonah Lehrer again?
Not likely. Too similar to stuff by Gladwell, Kahneman, Ariely, Pink...
What three words best describe David Colacci’s voice?
Very clear, professional. Only when he quotes other people, he tries to add an accent (like an old lady) which sounds silly.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
A bit disappointed. Read/heard about too many subjects already. (Probably because I had also already read books by the authors where Lehrer got his examples; especially professors Kahneman and Ariely...)
