A fun listen on family travels

For a first time author Liz does a great job describing the ups and downs of family travel around the world. Her stories are entertaining (and a bit shocking sometimes) but that's what makes them great. It's easy to place yourself in her shoes as she describes her thoughts and actions for various global situations. If you have done some traveling you will relate.
My one complaint is some of the stories had me wishing for a bit more - as in what happened next. For instance, what happened with the rest of the stay with the Japanese family? I think this book could easily have been a couple of hours longer with some more detail added.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Although, I feel if I was a menopausal woman on HRT I would have enjoyed it even more.

I was so excited about the storyline of this book, but the EXPLICIT content just keeps coming and coming. Sad the author would ruin such a great fantasy idea with so much filth. tried the second book, hoping it would be better, sadly it wasn't and I couldn't finish it. Sticking with Brandon Sanderson from now on. He knows how to write amazing fantasy without the filth! DISAPPOINTED on this one!

Sadly the overwhelming negatives make enjoying the fantastic fantasy story impossible. Couldn't finish due to EXPLICIT content so read the online summaries instead. Sticking with Brandon Sanderson who writes AMAZING fantasy stories without the filth!

foul language removed from my library

Story line was interesting but so much swearing and foul language I didn't finish and removed from my library. Disappointing! Sad those unnecessary words ruined the story for me.

Two books crammed together

Would you try another book from Christopher McDougall and/or Nicholas Guy Smith?
I've read the "Born to Run" book several times and would recommend that one. But not this one.
What could Christopher McDougall have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Separate it into two separate books. The random switching between the two narratives is baffling. Write two books and I think both would be 4 stars. But put them together and they are only 2-3 stars
