A very pleasant surprise

This book is supposedly a science fiction but it reads like a Sci fi history book. It was really boring. The ending was good but you had to sit through hours of boring history lesson. The reader also read really fast and I could not keep up in the beginning and so it wasn't until middle of the book I began to put the pieces together. I will not read the second book.

I am a big fan of Dan Simmons. I have listened to Hyperion Cantos and loved it. I really liked Carrion Comfort. It was at times very disturbing but enjoyable to listen to. I loved it.

It was very painful for me to listen to this book for 19 hours. I imagine when it was written which is about 80 years ago the style of writing was very popular but I found it extremely boring. I can not read the other books in the trilogy

Some Answered Questions is a rather quick look into Baha'i Divine philosophy. It answers some of our basic questions. This edition is also narrated beautifully. I highly recommend it to everyone.

An amazing story

I loved this story. This young man was able with courage to free himself form the bondage of civilization and society. He was able to break the chains that this Consumerism/capitalism has placed around our necks. His death was I believe a tragic misfortune. I wonder how many of us have the courage to break the chains and shackles of this society and find our own path that will lead to true happiness? Not many I am willing to bet. I know I don't. I hope all young people read his story and will be inspired to look for something far more meaningful that just just capitalist consumerism aka "rat race" and find their true self on a journey where they will pave their own path in life and not follow the path that has been laid before them by others.
