Historia
In this brilliant biography T. J. Stiles offers a new understanding of the legendary outlaw Jesse James. Although he has often been portrayed as a Robin Hood of the old west, in this ground-breaking work Stiles places James within the context of the bloody conflicts of the Civil War to reveal a much more complicated and significant figure.

Historia
We’ve lived through the worst events in human history. The world is forever, irrevocably changed, and yet I know a secret you may not want to hear… things are only going to get worse. The global government claims to have everything under control. The wars are dying down, and the death flu has burned itself out. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have run wild over the world, but there are ...

Well Written!
Revisado: 01-07-25
It drew me in, as soon as it started. Very glad I stumbled across it, while looking for interesting books, about a completely different topic. I needed to hear this. Every generation of people that has come along for over 2,000 years, has had followers of Jesus, who thought He was about to come anyday, to take them home. That being said, I truly believe with everything in me, that those of us alive today, are the ones who will be witnessing this, in our lifetime. We have witnessed Prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes, like nobody has in history. Things are ramping up bigtime! There are billions of people who need to hear a book like this, and truly contemplate where they want to spend eternity!

Historia
The murder of Abraham Lincoln set off the greatest manhunt in American history, the pursuit and capture of John Wilkes Booth. From April 14 to April 26, 1865, the assassin led Union cavalry and detectives on a wild 12-day chase through the streets of Washington, D.C., across the swamps of Maryland, and into the forests of Virginia, while the nation, still reeling from the just-ended Civil War, watched in horror and sadness.

Great Narration!
Revisado: 12-18-24
As with everything else he does, Richard did a spectacular job on this. When I was growing up in the 80's, if you had told me that one day John Boy Walton would be reading me stories at night on a telephone, to go to sleep, I would have thought you needed a straight jacket. Here we are 40 years later though and that's exactly whats happening! Haha

Historia
One of pop culture’s great enduring unsung heroes: Gary Dell’Abate, Howard Stern Show producer, miracle worker, professional good sport, and servant to the King of All Media, for the first time tells the story of his early years and reveals how his chaotic childhood and early obsessions prepared him for life at the center of the greatest show on Earth. Baba Booey! Baba Booey! It was a slip of the tongue - that unfortunately was heard by a few million listeners - but in that split second a nickname, a persona, a rallying cry, and a phenomenon was born.

Historia
In April 1861, Wayland Fuller Dunaway left his college classroom and entered the ranks of the men who fought the bloodiest war ever waged on the North American continent. A Captain in the Army of Northern Virginia, he marched hundreds of miles in Stonewall Jackson's command; saw Generals Lee and Longstreet; was among the first soldiers to fight at Gettysburg, where he also participated in Pickett's Charge; and fought against the lines of strangers in blue who, no matter how many times they were defeated, always returned to invade his beloved Virginia.

Great story. Held my attention very well. The author had an interesting story to tell, and he told it in a way that it's easy to imagine yourself right there with him during the war.
