As much as I disliked being judgmental I truly believe there was not any research done on the subject. Why do I say this? Because the narrators voice was completely out of sync and inappropriate for the boys storyline. I disliked the tone immensely. Terrible

From page 1. The narrator was in sync with storyline which was credible to the outrageous behavior from the character of the mother. Father David, who had fought for the family, wouldn’t stop. Fantastic read

Sexual Abuse, Addiction, Recovery
Revisado: 11-15-22
Kudos for Jessica- Going through and putting her story out there for others to see that it’s possible to comeback and lead a life without addiction and abuse. Finding true & unconditional love with motherhood gave her more than she ever wanted. On a personal side-note: I believe her addictions began with insecurities of being pushed into singing & acting early on. Feeling responsible for her family’s happiness, would give anyone addiction and low self worth. That was sinfully so wrong, truly flabbergasted her father and mother didn’t catch this. I know they loved her, too much emphasis on the green dollar, More $$$ creates chaos’s

Here is the spellbinding story of Abby Mason - photographer, fiancée, soon-to-be stepmother - and the consequences of her greatest error. Revisado: 09-24-22
Re-listened to the end. Very curious if there is any truth to it. Kids disappear with our a trace more often than you'd think, and we all know of stories how a nutty parent hád kidnapped their own child, Getting back to it, I did feel dràgged out storyline & it needs a good kick to move it along, or maybe it was narrator monologue.

Historia
Murdered is the true story of the coldblooded killing of Sherri Rae Rasmussen, a 29 year old newlywed. Paul Christy's thrilling performance leaves the listener at the edge of his seat. Christy's voice reflects the journalistic and no-nonsense quality of Alexander's words. The narrative is detailed and thorough, without giving too much away too soon.

Did Author Fact check?
Revisado: 06-30-22
One example I can give references fact checking is
Sherry’s killer didn’t use a pillow for silencer the killer grabbed Sherry’s grandmother’s homemade afghan to use as silencer. How I know this is there was leftover gun residue when tested. There’s couple other details I’m not sure on, I will leave that alone. Why wasn’t narrator corrected and edited on the correct pronunciation of John Ruetten’s last name? It was unbearable. Lastly, For such a terrible tragedy and horrible behavior of LE I was amazed on the short length of book. It was almost insult that more facts wasn’t disposed to the reader not familiar with Sherry’s murder. I’m stumped by this. (Not editing my apologies for grammar or typos)

Historia
Elisa had made a habit of calling her parents every day and the 29th and 30th were no exception. That was also the day she moved in and was quickly drummed out by the other tenants because she made them "uncomfortable". Her eviction from the shared room to her own private room must have been difficult for a young woman already full of insecurities, neuroses, and esteem issues. January 31, 2013, Elisa Lam's parents, for the first time on Elisa' "West Coast Tour", didn't receive a call from her daughter.

By age 25, Heather Anderson had hiked what is known as the "Triple Crown" of backpacking: the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, and Continental Divide Trail - a combined distance of 7,900 miles with a vertical gain of more than one million feet. A few years later, she left her job, her marriage, and a dissatisfied life and walked back into those mountains. In her new memoir, Heather shares her distinct message of courage - her willingness to turn away from the predictability of a more traditional life in an effort to seek out what most fulfills her.
