This side story about Henry was an enjoyable listen.
A scandalous entry into the story Gamaken and his companions based on Henry the Fairy.
The narrator did a great job performing the characters and bringing the story to life.

A fantastic ending to an expansive story

Jim Meeks Johnson has written a huge cosmos for readers and listeners to explore. This title concludes the adventures of Jade Mahelona delving even further into the cosmos-spanning story.

The mysterious Vishnar is back and things only become more complex.

Narrator AC Oliver continues to deliver an amazing performance. With so many different characters and different alien voices performed, he brings this story to life in audio.

I received this title from the narrator in return for my honest review.

Outstanding sequel to this space opera

Continuing the story of Jade Mahelona as she continues to prove the worth of humanity to differing alien species during an intergalactic war.
Furthering the discourse on individuality and individual skills being a benefit versus the specific skill-set that is generally required by the collection of alien species.
Narrator AC Oliver continues to bring to life so many unique alien creatures. One creature specifically has multiple identities communicating rapidly and they are all brought to life with unique voices.

Well defined high-fantasy world including LGBTQ+

An amazing high fantasy story that is well defined and full of intrigue written by Eliza Eveland. The story focuses on the fate of one city and its Queen under the siege of Elven invaders. A large cast of characters that all have a well developed story. Including some LGBTQ+ characters.
Narrator Ruthie Bowles does a fantastic job bringing the story to life, and defining the characters.

My favorite characters were Cat an elven mage and Isaac a Queen's knight who came from an order that polices magic. Looking forward to next book!

Macho supernatural story full of action

A very action packed title.
That gave me very The Expendables vibes but if the Expendables were your typical gun store workers and customers.
The story had me intrigued and I was very curious to know more about the monsters.
The setting was quite humorous and I would dare say a lot of the characters are intentionally satirical.

Most of the characters receive a nice bit of back-story and development letting you get to know them.
The narrator Sean Duregger gave a lot of heart and soul to the characters. Every single one of them had a unique style and voice. As a southerner I was pleasantly surprised by his range of southern accents!

What a great listen narrator Jillian Yetter delivers unique voices for many different characters. It was easy to differentiate all the characters involved in any scene.
A dark story with a combination of fairy tale elements that I could not put down.

A thrilling conclusion! Also another great performance by Kyle Snyder.
Some great story points were brought to conclusion including a confrontation that Flynn has been hungering for since the prologue of book 1.
The final necromancer was a surprise to me.
Mistress Heidi Schultz presents a thought-provoking rationale for her decisions in this finale!

Amazing epic space sci-fi

I received a free copy of this audiobook for my honest review.
This is my first title from author Jim Meeks-Johnson and narrator AC Oliver, and I can't recommend this more highly for fans of space sci-fi.

Jump into a galaxy-spanning adventure of Lieutenant Jade Mahelona a human Solar Defense Force member who becomes part of a rescue crew tasked with locating a herd of missing Elloquine.

AC Oliver does an outstanding job voicing the expansive cast of characters and engaging you in the journey. My favorite standout bits were the dance communication language of the Elloquine, the dry and direct communication of the Obnots, and the discussion of the benefits of both fulfilling a pre-decided role or being creative in your approach to life.

Both brutal and romantic at the same time

My first title from Piper Stone, and I'm intrigued!

A schoolteacher is chosen in the galactic lottery as an alien's prize, conquest, queen? His original intention is more lascivious but something about Sasha intrigues Krakkar.
Krakkar is both brutal and purposeful, switching between ravaging Sasha and trying to garner her trust. Sasha is prideful and intelligent while also being swept away by newly uncovered desires.

Skylar delivers another great performance!
Be careful where you listen to this one 😉.
