HOLY SHIT!!!!

I've been a die hard Def Lep fan since I was a kid 40 years ago...I love everything about the band, thier great music, example of comradery, zero bullshit drama for the sake of fake ass entertainment...I was blessed to have gotten to see them for the very first time a week ago in Spokane Washington, USA...difficult finding words to describe the amazing experience...the next day I got this book (I was previously unaware of it) and all I can say is Holy shit balls man, you transcend being the guitarist of Def Lep, as great as that may be...incredible book man, to say the least. I hope you write another..and get the other guys to as well, lol...esp loved yor spiritual insight toward the end..and the scene of Rick and your ole man pushing the bus will be re playing in my imagination for a good long while...cheers mate!

BEST BOOK ON THE SUBJECT EVER BY FAR!

I have a huge library on this subject and peripheral subjects, made up of many great authors. This is the best, straight to the point with absolute stellar advice and direction on all the most important points of every aspect of being a serious working musician..not a single line wasted in the writing of it.

great synopsys on goal setting

I resonate with Kam's style. I enjoy reading long reads and doing my own distillation but I also like the inspiration of a good author sharing his/her own style of this technique. I haven't read a book by Kam Knight that I didnt love. You could take any point he makes and delve much deeper into the subject or you can take this concise point and apply it as is. good job buddy...keep it up!

This is a concept I been studying for several yeas... in job man!!! Great balance of practical applications with conceptual. I would state some of his observations differently, but that's just me, most any thinker/creative would agree. Most of this was validation of my own experience and views. A different perspective is always a bonus. this book should be a #1 best seller. I like his voice as well, I'd like to jam with him ;)

great perspective as well. i have read a few of peter s books. what i like about his style is the concise format, not too much info, but not too little either..great stand alone, or if you wish, an introduction for a much deeper and involved study..i. read alot so i enjoy the various perspectives on any one subject..over all, very well organized and written, kept my interest...i have read this book 3 times..i will read more books by the same author...the narrator did a good job as well..easy to listen to his voice, clear, good reading speed and life like, not robotic..

great little book, very practical

the only regret I have about this book is not writing it myself..
I have listened to it twice and will listen to it several times more as well as listen to other books by the same author...it's concise and practical...you can get the same info in other books but spend way more time and energy filtering..not too much info, but not skimpy either..well organised and the narrative is easy listening, entertaining...great job Pete!!!

Definitely from other books by the same author...just because someone sells a bunch of books doesn't say anything for the obvious quality of scam

This book is a total upsale..the principles are solid, but you could get them from an actual master..there is a bogus offer at the end of the book for free material if you log onto a website..all the website is, is an add to buy the very same book and bragging page of how many books sold..I looked everywhere to contact someone concerning this and got no reply..bad customer service..totally contrary to the advice in book..reminds me of those "make 1500.00 a week stuffing envelopes, just send 19.95 for info and start making money this week...!!!!" we use to see in the paper and back of magazines all the time..now it has just transitioned to the internet, a much more lucrative platform for scamming...sorry, until I get an answer my review stands as is...

very inspirational and insightful, practical and easy to understand..good balance of illustration, fact and philosophy..very well written and read, captivating..kept me engaged from "cover to cover"..will definitely read again, probably a few more times..I personally can identify with the author, as I have a clear sense of mission to inspire those around me...great book!!!

very practical guidance

the material is very practical instruction for day to day story telling of true to life stories, not creative fictional ones..I wouldn't call it the 'only story telling guide you'll ever need' (sorry Margot:) as I have found it even better when combined with the different perspectives of other well written books on the subject..the author is hilarious and her advice is down to earth at the same time..I will definitely listen to this over and over..
