well done, gripping book. I blew through it quickly

this is we'll researched and presented. my only astrix I would add to this book is that yes, if every country launched ALL of their nukes then yes things would end terribly. I think there are more realistic scenarios that could play out such as smaller tactical weapons used on countries who aren't in NATO or something. it would still be unthinkabley terrible but I feel like every country would sanction the aggressor country very heavily. I hope no body ever uses any nuclear weapons but I feel like we're more likely to see my scenario than a cold war style full decapitation strike. either way very good and thought provoking book.

Great book with terrible audio

I loved this book and would definitely recommend it however it is pretty hard to ignore the terrible audio quality. the narrator does a great job but it sounds like it's being read through a cardboard tube or like there is a metal trashcan over his head. it is worth listening to despite the bad sound quality

I have read this book and the following books as well and could not suggest them strongly enough to someone looking to understand short term market cycles. I am super excited that these books are finally making it on to audible and will listen to them several times. I am having trouble with the accompanying PDF, it just says please wait for it to download. I have removed the book from my device and redownloaded it and am still having the same issue. the narrator is doing a great job from what I have listened to so far but his British accent can be slightly difficult to understand sometimes. The accent is me nitpicking, I still strongly recommend this book and all of Al Brook's work, course, YouTube channel, all of it. Hopefully I can figure out the PDF/ it gets fixed very soon.

UPDATE: I was able to get the PDF to download after I removed the title from my device, force stopped the app then re opened the app, redownloaded the title and it work fine. audible support gave me a quick response also.

the narrator is Irish which is a nice touch that I didn't consider, the story and subject matter is incredible, and the author does a great job of really painting a picture of what it was like then. recommend to anyone who enjoys history, biographies, and adventure books

everything was good my one thing was that I had to listen to the book at 115-120% speed because the narrator spoke so slow it was distracting. other than that everything was great would recommend

I just read American Sphinx before this and this does such a good job of painting a clearer picture of who Jefferson was. would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn about early America and/or Jefferson

I laughed at the idea of the story being told from a dog's point of view but it was a very easy listen and very enjoyable. highly recommend

great book to steer your mind in a creative direction. i will need to listen to this book again next time I have a long drive because I feel there is so much more I could retain.

confusing

i love Malcolm Gladwell as an author but this book I found difficult to follow and relate back to a thesis. all the stories I could kind of connect the dots myself but alot of it seemed random at the same time and there was no final chapter tying it all back together.
