I found this book through a viral video on Instagram and it was just so sweet that I had to purchase it when the audiobook came out. It's pretty rare that not only does a new author put out this kind of quality writing, but, the story itself is so creative andso enthralling and I'm eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.

Every time a new book comes out in this series, I wonder if it's going to live up to the previous one… I don't know how he does it, but they just keep getting better and better. This book has officially cemented the series as top two, alongside DCC for me.

This book was great, I usually am irritated by the main characters being this age group, but she writes them so well that it's still a gripping and sensual ride Wilbur still giving some serious depth to her work.

This beautiful love story was not at all what I was expecting. I went into this thinking it would be a sort of second chance romance, but this was so much more. It was a fantastically written regency romance with depth and heart and a strength of love that grew into something that broke through painful mental health barriers while teaching the characters how to believe in themselves.
Also, the narrator did a superb job voicing this from start to finish! I'm often taken out of there immersion in the story by things that irritate me in the narration and I didn't have that issue at all, her accent is soothing and lent a believability to the words.
If you like regency romance with a touch of spice you'd like this!

The perfect last book

Oh god, this series was so much more that I thought it could be. It's now one of my all time favorite love stories. I ate through the books so fast, I still need to go back and leave reviews for books one and two. I have to say that book two is my favorite (I just fell in love with the world and the back-stories and the magic in book two), but book three is a close second place ❤️ I normally prefer open door romance with a bit of spice and older characters, which is why I was unsure of starting this series. Thank god for audible sales that get you to try things 🤣
