I already enjoyed the story, but the audio is fantastic. I really thought Charlie West did a good job but Summer’s range and ability to vary between characters was what really impressed me. All in all they did a fantastic job and did this book justice

This book is fantastic. Compelling, action packed with more than a little intrigue and uncertainty. Everything I didn’t know I needed it to be. The narration is spot on with tons of inflection and variance between the characters. One of the best books I’ve read/listened to in a while.

I love this series. Read vol 2 as soon as I could and couldn’t wait for the audiobook. Erin Bateman does a fantastic job narrating. AK has a great series on going here. Plenty of action and the sequel definitely has more romantic relationship building than the previous vol. just like vol 1, there’s plenty of humor splashed throughout. I am looking forward to future volumes!

This book/series is fantastic. Absolutely loved the written version and Daniel and Rebecca did not let it down. If you’re on the fence about this book, do yourself a favor and give it a chance. You’ll love it. AK doesn’t disappoint.

Fun and adventurous

The detail and general humor of this book surprised me. I expected to enjoy it, like most of AK’s work, but this was refreshing and almost wistfully charming. Lots of detail and imagery that fully immersed me into the story. Definitely give this a chance

This story transcends any one genre. There is plenty of comedic banter, action, intrigue, and romance to satisfy anyone. Give this book a read/listen to and you won’t regret it. Kane did well by his readership with this title.

I don’t know what I was expecting from this book, but it wasn’t what I got. THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! It started out with a haymaker and just did not let up. The action and detailed imagery presented were just outstanding. I felt like I was watching a movie and not listening to an audiobook. Definitely ready for the sequel.

A rather typical isekai. The premise and story itself are fairly well portrayed. My biggest complaint is how readily the MC adjusts and dives into his new predicament with little to no refusal. While I don’t have any issue with the narration on the whole, I wasn’t wowed by it either.
