There's a lot ot love about this series and a lot of flaws. that said it's worth the listen.

Such an amazing series!

I rarely leave reviews but this series is amazing and deserves to be recognized for it! The author masters the "fake it till you make it" character. MC is a BA and doesn't even realize it. It may be my favorite series of all time in an over 800 book library!

Almost great

This was a book that I really wanted to like but the writting/storytelling is just lacking. Firstly you can basically skip the first 3 hours as they add little to the book and made me want to drop it outright. Then the rest of the book you go from enjoying to story to the character being hand fed everything he needs. They are supposed to be college graduates but feel more like teenagers. The MC moralizing about things that are bad but then doing them anyways is also overdone. Overall there's some interesting things happening in the story which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 3 but it's lacking in so many other respects.

Took a chance and struck gold!

A relaxed brewing comedy. I didn't know what to expect but I was not disappointed. I highly encourage those who enjoy a bit of fun to read/listen to this series!

Amazing book!

I was ready to drop the book after the first 30 minutes thinking I'd wasted my time/money, HOWEVER it got more and more interesting with lots of action packed slug fests! Quickly becoming one of my favorites!

We got to the city of darkness! let's wait!

so this book they arrived at the city of darkness and then instead of getting into the city they dance around going in for THREE HOURS a whole 1/3rd of the book is going back and forth if they should go into the city that they have been heading towards for HALF the series. Really bombed the first half of this book.

Naive girl lead by the nose

I thought about dropping this book several times. There are moments where it is very entertaining, and then there's a temperamental teenager who comes to conclusions only when they are spelled out for her. I'd give it the read if you're interested but be prepared to be frustrated by MC's lacking abilities.
