Historia
When empty nester Mallory Farrell inherits her grandmother's run-down tourist shop in Seaport, Oregon, it seems the only sensible thing to do is to sell it. But when her former secret crush, Grayson Matthews, wants to buy the property in order to complete his plans to redevelop the funky town's business district into a soulless, cookie-cutter outdoor mall, Mallory digs in her heels and decides to renovate the property herself. With a lot of hard work and a little bit of help, Mallory makes incredible progress turning the store into an eclectic home décor shop called Romancing the Home.

Sweet
Revisado: 02-25-25
This was a sweet story and I’m always on the search for Christian listens. Someone commented that the narrator was slow. I liked the clear voice of the narrator and just sped it up a little.

Excellent Characters
Revisado: 10-22-24
This was such a sweet story. I originally started it just so I had some white noise when I worked but found myself engaged. The main characters were really developed. Okay yes it was a little sappy and I could have done without the way it end was written. I would have liked an epilogue. Good clean story.

The residents do what they believe is right and take her in - until two suspicious strangers arrive and begin looking for her.

This book is a roller coaster of emotions. I found myself tearing up sometimes. This is not my usual genre but I think it was on sale so I purchased it according to the reviews. Please give this book a try it’s a nice surprise. I didn’t want it to end.

Pleasant Surprise
Revisado: 02-19-24
I bought this collection because it was on sale. It was a bundle and the reviews were positive. Probably the greatest purchase I’ve made so far. Entertaining, witty and very well written. I’m careful of what I listen to because of my beliefs but I did make allowances this time because it really was encompassing. I listened straight through.

I really enjoyed this story. Christina Moore is one of my favorite narrators. Janette Oke’s writing keeps growing, maybe it’s because of the co-authors she’s been teaming up with but for whatever reason this book was fantastic. Wonderful story!

I listen to a lot of Amish books because I can’t stand all the muckity, muck in other books. Yes the Amish books can get tedious but sometimes you find a jewel like this book with a different twist. I really enjoyed it.

COULDN’T STOP LISTENING.
Revisado: 11-12-21
This is by far my favorite Lynn Austin book. I normally don’t like to listen to WWII books but the reviews were so positive I bought it. I’m so glad I did! There were a couple of times I started to cry which then made me laugh because I’m thinking, I’m a 59 year old woman crying about a book! LOL

Revisado: 06-27-21
I got this book because it was on sale and because I like a Karen Witemeyer. The first book in this series was cute and heartwarming but this book was so much more. The narrator’s ability to change her voice really made these characters come alive. Sometimes she made me giggle which is always a bonus. Sweet, sweet book.

Caution the narrator is HORRIBLE!
Revisado: 06-04-21
I’m a big fan of Tessa Afshar so I preordered this book and couldn’t wait to listen. The voice the narrator used for the main character is so bad it actually hurt my ears sometimes. I thought at the beginning it was a little girl and she would grow up and her voice would change, nope! Ugh I pushed through the story because it was good but I had to stop and walk away her voice felt like fingernails on a chalk board. I’m hoping it’s just me but I don’t think so. I think they should re-record it, it’s that painful! I don’t know why the narrator couldn’t use her normal voice? She has a nice voice why make it a squeaky, annoying baby voice? Looking forward to seeing if anyone else feels the same way. The story was great.
