Good book
Revisado: 02-23-24
Overall both of the narrators did a really good job. The story was easy to follow and was done at a very good pace. Storyline is fun and there's just enough twists to keep you on your toes.

Just back from rehab, Casey regrets letting her friends Shana, Julie, and Aya talk her into coming to Survive the Night, an all-night, underground rave in a New York City subway tunnel. Surrounded by frightening drugs and menacing strangers, Casey doesn't think Survive the Night could get any worse...until she comes across Julie's mutilated body in a dank, black subway tunnel, red-eyed rats nibbling at her fingers. Better than I thought once you actually get into it
Revisado: 07-30-20
So I actually took like a two or three week break after getting about an hour into the story. I then decided to go back in when I was really bored one day and give it another shot. The beginning of it is a little choppy and the girls voice is a little bit hard to get used to but once you actually get into the story you realize that her voice is actually perfect for the character and the storyline is pretty good. it’s a little out there but definitely worth a credit. It’s very descriptive but pretty gory so if you’re not into that, I’d probably not get this book. I could see this being made into a movie.

Historia
On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn’t doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams about the slope and shape of his wife’s head, but passages from Amy's diary reveal the alpha-girl perfectionist could have put anyone dangerously on edge.

Wow
Revisado: 07-23-20
Ok. So first of all, the narration for this book is amazing! First time listening to a book with 2 narrators but it was really awesome! I felt like they were so believable that they were telling their own life stories. The plot is very fascinating and very deep with a lot of working parts with is great. I’ve been getting pickier about my audiobooks due to very shallow plots and this one was definitely worth the credit. These voice actors deserve some kind of prize because they fit everything- from being conniving, selfish, hateful, fake, loving.... all of it. Perfectly performed.

Pretty good. Worth a credit
Revisado: 02-19-20
This is a pretty good book and the narrator is awesome. They do bounce around a lot with past and present so make sure you’re able to actually pay attention while listening or you might miss something and confuse yourself. As far as the abuse goes, the descriptions are actually pretty tame. I’ve read books that actually delve into the true gruesomeness of abuse and this one barely scratches the surface. Not to say that this book isn’t great but I personally prefer books that actually get into the nitty gritty stuff because that is what it is. While I realize that most people don’t want to hear things like that, You can’t “sugarcoat” abuse of any sort because it is what it is, it’s not pretty. That being said, if you’re timid or easily offended/appalled by that kind of thing, this book is a pretty safe bet for you because it doesn’t even begin to touch the actual gruesomeness - therefore in my opinion, the author made it more bearable to sensitive readers. definitely recommend!

It’s alright.
Revisado: 02-13-20
I definitely thought this would be .... just more. I would not classify this as a thriller especially the only “thrilling” event happened right at the end. I pretty much saw it all coming and there weren’t really any good twists. The story also doesn’t fit the description. It paints a totally different premise than what the book actually is. I’d say it’s a good introduction to “thrillers” for readers who are too jumpy or can’t handle a whole lot of scary turns but for those readers more experienced in the genre, it will seem pretty flat and just “alright”. The narrator is pretty solid.

Historia
Jane’s days at a Midwest insurance company are perfectly ordinary. She blends in well, unremarkably pretty in her floral-print dresses and extra efficient at her low-level job. She’s just the kind of woman middle manager Steven Hepsworth likes - meek, insecure, and willing to defer to a man. No one has any idea who Jane really is. Least of all Steven. But plain Jane is hiding something. And Steven’s bringing out the worst in her.

Ok. This has to be one of the best books I’ve ever read. It has such a unique point of view and really dives into that which is amazing. The author also PERFECTLY portrays how the men act in this book. I freaking loved it. Seriously just buy it.

Historia
Four families wake up one morning in their trailer on an ordinary campsite. However, during the night, something strange has happened. Everything outside the camping grounds has disappeared, and the world has been transformed into an endless expanse of grass. The sky is blue, but there is no sign of the sun; there are no trees, no flowers, no birds. And every radio plays nothing but the songs of '60s pop icon Peter Himmelstrand. As the holiday-makers try to come to terms with what has happened, they are forced to confront their deepest fears and secret desires.

Don’t even get this. I feel like the plot was a once-interesting idea and the author just gave up on developing it. They never really explained why all of this was happening. It’s just way too weird with no reason for it.
