Apocalyptic Thriller?? Where?

If you had the ability to swing like Spider-Man, you wouldn’t take the subway. That’s exactly what this book does. You get 2 standout moments and the rest just drags!

This is how it is in the real world..
Revisado: 11-02-21
Not everyone gets a happy ending. And even the people who do don’t get the ending they expected. And to the audience, it may seem like a massive slap in the face. The Morally blurry actions taken by the characters and the “big bads” straying away from their typical roles in thrillers serve as the final nail in the bleak star studded glittery coffin that is “making a name for yourself by any means necessary”
For every person that makes it, there are a dozen who don’t. And one thing is for certain, if your name is in flashing lights, the odds are you’ve done some pretty questionable if not awful things to get it there.

Historia
Everyone knows the Ivies: the most coveted universities in the United States. Far more important are the Ivies. The Ivies at Claflin Academy, that is. Five girls with the same mission: to get into the Ivy League by any means necessary. I would know. I'm one of them. We disrupt class ranks, club leaderships, and academic competitions...among other things. We improve our own odds by decreasing the fortunes of others. Because hyper-elite competitive college admissions is serious business. And in some cases, it's deadly.

I’m so confused and disappointed cause I love Alexa Donne

I’ll just cut straight to the point.
The main character is one dimensional and hardly consequential.
The main side character is a plot device who switches personalities to be exactly what the story needs.
The story has barely any action, suspense, intrigue, or mystery.
Decent twists are ruined by a nonsensical ending.
The villain shouldn’t have been able to cover they’re tracks so well considering the dumb way they “lost”
The person reading could’ve added a little more emotion to certain characters lines but others she was spot on!
I feel bad but I was waiting for this for months and months so I gotta speak the tea. (Regardless of who it screws over like some of these characters should have)
