Historia
Fresh from a brief stay at a psych hospital, reporter Camille Preaker faces a troubling assignment: She must return to her tiny hometown to cover the murders of two preteen girls. For years, Camille has hardly spoken to her neurotic, hypochondriac mother or to the half-sister she barely knows: a beautiful 13-year-old with an eerie grip on the town. Now, installed in her old bedroom in her family's Victorian mansion, Camille finds herself identifying with the young victims - a bit too strongly.

Great Book

Great book! Highly recommend. I wish Michelle was still around to finish her story. She was able to get in and get to know who she was writing about and it gave the whole story life.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Historia
An 11-year-old boy's violated corpse is found in a town park. Eyewitnesses and fingerprints point unmistakably to one of Flint City's most popular citizens. He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

Ready Player One Review
Revisado: 08-06-18
As always, the book is better than the movie, and in this case, the book is WAY better than the movie. It was fun and action packed with adventure and fantasy. Will Wheaton does a great job in the narration, giving each character its own identity and life. I highly recommend this book.

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

11.22.63 Review
Revisado: 06-04-18
I am a true fan of Stephen King and was excited to see this book being picked up as a mini-series on Hulu. Of course, I wanted to hear the story prior to watching the show. All in all, it was a good story that deal with time travel and "what if's", however, it was a bit dry in places where the story tends to drift off on a tangent. True SK fans will read/listen to this and, just like me, go and watch the mini-series.

Historia
Nothing ever changes in Sanders. The town's still got a video store, for God's sake. So why doesn't Eli Teague want to leave? Not that he'd ever admit it, but maybe he's been waiting - waiting for the traveler to come back. The one who's roared into his life twice before, pausing just long enough to drop tantalizing clues before disappearing in a cloud of gunfire and a squeal of tires. The one who's a walking anachronism, with her tricorne hat, flintlock rifle, and steampunked Model A Ford.

Another great piece of work from Peter Clines
Revisado: 01-24-18
Very much worth the read and/or listen. Peter Clines does a great job of twisting and turning the story to keep the listeners on their toes. I would recommend this book to a friend. I would also recommend Peter Clines in general to anyone who likes a Sci-Fi adventure that time travels and goes through different dimensions. Very fun!

Historia
In 1982, Sue Grafton introduced us to Kinsey Millhone. Thirty years later, Kinsey is an established international icon and Sue, a number-one best-selling author. To mark this anniversary year, Sue has given us stories that reveal Kinsey’s origins and Sue’s past. Kinsey and Me has two parts: The nine Kinsey stories (1986-93), each a gem of detection; and the And Me stories, written in the decade after Grafton's mother died. Together, they show just how much of Kinsey is a distillation of her creator’s past.

A bit boring
Revisado: 10-13-17
I love Sue Grafton, however, this book isn't a story, per say, but more of a memoir about how she came up with the character and what is has meant to her over the years. I have read all of Sue Grafton's works, and I think she is a great author, however, this one was a bit on the boring side for me.
