The story contained in this book is a far cry from what it was intended when it began. The initial hope was that it would be a cobbled-together series of funny experiences a part-time worker experienced at a local Renaissance faire. It became the story of a slow and steady crawl from the depths of depression to a place of acceptance and love.

I really, Really enjoyed this book. After reading Necessary Chances, I knew I would enjoy this story too. I had many moments where I was surprised, laughing, or tearing up. This is a wonderful redemption story. Hearing the author read his own story made it even more special.
