Historia
Lady Lily Jameson is thrilled to attend a house party given by Daniel Farnsworth, the Duke of Lybrook, but not because he's the most eligible bachelor in the peerage. Her only interest is his famous art collection, which reputedly includes a painting by her favorite artist, Jan Vermeer. Daniel, duke only by virtue of the untimely deaths of his father and older brother, wants nothing to do with his new duties. He'd rather continue his rakish ways.

it's a little figure between the characters.
Revisado: 12-26-19
I had a time distinguishing the characters. it might be with a Male reader as well as the female reader. The story was ok. I wish the ending was a little clearer.

Historia
Bryce Simpson did the only thing he could. He spurned Marjorie Steel. Even though he’ll be living on her ranch, he is determined to stay away from her. She’s worthy of more than he can even think about giving, especially now that long-buried memories are surfacing and he’s learning that his father’s sins may go even deeper than he imagined. Bryce’s rejection destroys Marjorie, and she descends to a dark place she thought she’d abandoned forever. She emerges stronger, though, and is determined not to let heartbreak rule her life.

Can't wait for the next book!
Revisado: 11-20-19
I wished the next book is available! I wished I didnt have to wait til January. I'm addict to these books! I hate the idea of not knowing if Marjorie is ok. I'm glad Bryce finally realized that he has feelings for Marjorie.

Historia
Prosecuting attorney in the Manson trial Vincent Bugliosi held a unique insider's position in one of the most baffling and horrifying cases of the 20th century: the cold-blooded Tate-LaBianca murders carried out by Charles Manson and four of his followers. What motivated Manson in his seemingly mindless selection of victims, and what was his hold over the young women who obeyed his orders? Now available for the first time in unabridged audio, the gripping story of this famous and haunting crime is brought to life by acclaimed narrator Scott Brick.

it was still scary
Revisado: 10-14-19
it took me over 40 years to have the courage to read this book. I've started many times but couldn't take the grotesque of it. finally finished it. I think once is enough. I hope many will learn from this story.
