I was SO excited for this book to finally come to Audible, because that's the only way I ever get any books read these days. And I LOVED the first two books in this series.
HOWEVER, this narrator and the way she read for Sibby's part was just terrible 😭 it doesn't sound natural or feel like the character at all, who we were introduced to in the last book, Hunting Adeline.
I'm not sure what went wrong or how no one noticed this before it was officially ready to be bought, but it's just plain bad. I can't bring myself to finish to the book it's so bad.
If you debating between the real book or the Audible version with this, definitely dothe real thing. usually Audibles are an excellent choice if you don't actually have time to sit still and read. I'm so disappointed, but this one is a big miss.

this is one of the darkest but also steamiest books I've read! hard to get through to the first dew chapters but then I loved it
