Historia
In Confrontations, the second volume of his Alien Contact Trilogy, Dr. Jacques Vallee personally investigates 40 astonishing UFO cases from around the world. He finds it shocking that professional scientists have never seriously examined this material. This audiobook is about the hopes, experiences, and frustrations of a scientist who has gone into the field to investigate a bizarre, seductive, and often terrifying phenomenon reported by many witnesses as contact with an alien form of intelligence.

It’s good
Revisado: 07-17-24
Not as interesting to me as the first book, mostly because I am interested in the far history of the issue. But still very interesting and thoughtful. I appreciate Jacques apparent interest in fidelity and objectivity in his study. Though some of the accounts in his books are fantastical none comes off as sensationalized. And he is honest enough to say often “I don’t know” which, when true, is the best answer.

Solid

If you like the redwall books, this is the same formula, food fighting fiends and friendship. Nothing fancy simple wholesome stories told well.

Historia
Evangelical elites and the progressive media complex want you to think that Christian nationalism is hopelessly racist, bigoted, and an idol for right-wing Christians. Is Christian nationalism the golden calf of the religious right—or is it the only way forward?

To some degree the title of this book is a misnomer.

Natural truth
Revisado: 04-10-24
I don’t affirm all the means of argumentation that were used to bring about the conclusions in this book, but I affirm the conclusions as true and obvious. This should be included in required reading for all children before leaving the home.

A science fiction unique among all other science fiction
Revisado: 01-23-24
This book makes all other science fiction apear bent by comparison, dark in its assumption that the rest of the heavens would bear the weight of darkness that our fallen world has earned. It’s a peculiarly beautiful thing and must be counted amongst Lewis’s best works.
