So fun to listen to one of my favorite books
Revisado: 08-24-22
This book has been one of my favorite books on permaculture and edible landscaping for a number of years. I'm excited that it's available now in audio form so I can go back and listen while driving, or while working outside. What I love about it is how tangible and approachable it is. Some other permaculture books can get really dense to get through and I feel that can hold us back from actually taking real action and starting something. This book makes it really simple to understand how to actually carry out these really practical and multi-functional techniques and designs. Sheet mulching and swales in particular. Oh yes, and grafting/tree care - sections I refer to often. Thanks Michael!

Historia
The pawpaw, a close relative of the tropical custard apple, grows throughout much of North America yet culturally and horticulturally we know very little about it. This mini manual by edible landscape author Michael Judd jumps right into growing, caring for, harvesting, and using pawpaws—from seed to table. Judd demystifies fruit growing in direct easy-to-follow steps that quickly brings confidence to the newbie grower while expanding the horizons of curious gardeners.

Inspiring, Practical and Thorough with Personality
Revisado: 08-21-22
Both of Michael's books are texts that I could pick up any time to find that one nugget of information that I need, or to refresh myself on the relationships and dynamics that make for productive food systems. Now hearing it as an audio book is amazing and inspiring. This book is a gift for permaculturalists, present and future generations for expanding cultivation of pawpaws, which are truly delicious and easy to grow (when you have the right how-to info). Grateful that this book exists.
