Great Listen with one exception

So I really liked it overall. The story, characters and plot are all interesting and engaging. However I found myself endlessly frustrated with one aspect. The main character has a very interesting power and very very little exploration was done on ways to use it. It is simple to trigger yet when the time comes the character always has some foolish roadblock to using it. The number of times a cough got in the way was pretty infuriating.

I feel like the author had a 'superman' problem. The ability was 'potentially' too powerful so she reigned it in carefully however after like the first half of the book this feels really contrived. Unfortunately this leaves us with a feeling that the character is either completely stupid or completely incompetent.

Overall I do reccomend it as I really enjoyed the overall plot, magic system and narrator.

Amazing series but I thought it was over (it says omnibus afterall) but no, this is books 0.5 - 3. There are eight books total! Read on my friends!

Amazing story but be warned..

Time Travel perfection! Brilliantly executed story with great characters. A real 'page' turner.

Please be warned. This is the second book in the series. I have no idea why Audible would put up book 2 without book 1. It can stand on its own but the magnitude of what happens in this book will likely detract from reading the start of the story if you go out of order.

I didn't realize this until after I listened. Now I'll be going back to read the first one but with the knowledge of what happens to everyone in the end.

Audible, please don't do this again and if you must, at least put up a warning that it is Book 2.

Best book series ever! I swear, I listen to this every night. I recommend this book to anyone who likes sci-fi or space ships in general.

The series is one of best i've ever read/listened. The story is so deep. The reader does an excellent job, each of the hundreds of characters has a distinct voice that remains consistant throughout all of the books. Just awesome!

Far too abridged.

I later read the full book and really enjoyed it. However the book contains so much detail that is lost in the abridgment. I'd recommend waiting for the unabridged version or reading the book.

Very good information...

This book contains very good information for the novice/intermediate computer user. Backups are one of the most important and often neglected tool for computer health.

The author seamlessly combines general information with a specific, detailed stratagy. Definatly worth the listen.
