Great partner to GTD
Revisado: 03-28-04
Ready For Anything is more philosophical in nature. While less of a "how to" listen, Ready For Anything reminds us why we want to be organized and productive. Getting Things Done provided some great tips and ideas that I've been able to put into place, but Ready For Anything inspires me keep up the effort. If you love this stuff as much as I do, check out David Allen's website at davidco.com.

Historia
As CEO, most everything that Rich O'Connor did had something to do with at least one of the four disciplines on his famed "yellow sheet." Rich never suspected that it would become the blueprint of an employee's plan to destroy the firm. Best selling author Lencioni brings us a fable that focuses on a leader's crucial role in building a healthy organization.

You'll want to have your own yellow sheet.
Revisado: 02-07-04
The Four Obsessions is a catchy FABLE; it is not trying to be a novel. I listen in my car and always found myself sitting for several minutes after I'd reached my destination. The story is simple but captures your attention because of its relevance to reality. The narrator is excellent. His voice is clear.
The story begs the question...Do you, your management team and your organization exhibit what is described by Rich O'Conner's four principles? The last section of the book describes the four principles in detail.

Excellent concepts
Revisado: 10-16-03
Although this title contains some excellent concepts and advice, it is, at times, a bit boring listing to the extensive detail on how to follow those concepts and that advice. Listened attentively the first time...and it held my attention. I even listened a second and third time, but skipped over some of that detail. I will listen again.

Good addition to any library
Revisado: 10-16-03
Some truth in all of the other reviews. All books on productivity share some ideas, theories and principles. The Power of Full Engagement offers a different perspective on some of those ideas.... If you've been exposed to the principles that enhance physical fitness, specifically, repeated stress followed by time for recovery, this title will make sense! The authors introduce how this same principle could/should be applied to other aspects of our lives.

If you've read 7 Habits, you'll also like this. Like Covey with a hint of quantum physics. Lots of details and personal experiences shared. Several exercises and lots of notable quotes.

Standing ovation
Revisado: 08-25-03
That's what I received after listening to this audio. I used probably only half of the techniques described in the audio and had a hugely successful presentation. My boss commented, "I was very impressed. Best presentation I've seen in the four years I've been with this company." M Itchell must have listened to another title.
