The sample for this intrigued me, but I had no idea what to expect going into this first book. I had kind of a love hate thing with various characters, but the ending and epilogue left my jaw on the floor. I can't wait to start the next book in the series.

I fell in love with this series after listening to the first book Ghost. But, Onyx has utterly stloen my heart in this book. This title along with Ghost has been added to my favorites and I will definitely be listening to both again.

Definitely my kind of story and characters..

From the narrator to the story, I loved every moment. I used to go for the usual romance stories, but in the past few years I've realized that I have a thing for those from the supernatural realm. I can't wait to listen to the next book in this series and do hope that you'll bring back Orcus Auditory as well. His portrayal of Ghost was utterly perfect.

I’d then jumped on the 8:05 bus that ran a short distance between my house and the county library where I worked. The ride took its usual 15 minutes before it left me standing fresh-faced in front of a building of gothic construction that was my favorite place in the world. After straightening my knee-length skirt, I pushed open the door that led into the interior of the library.

Prior to listening to this book, I had been warned about the content. But, that only spurred me on being the curious person that I am. It definitely was unexpected as this type of book is not what I normally read or listen to. However, it's not often that a story has me stealing away whenever I can to listen more and find out what happens next. Two and half days is the fastest I've ever finished an audio book.
