Historia
In the heart of the South Pacific lies Point Nemo, the most desolate and remote place on Earth. At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. When the International Space Station suffers a catastrophic failure and plummets through the atmosphere, it's here that Mission Specialist Julie Rohr, an astrobiologist studying living space dust called xylem, finds herself marooned. Julie's only hope for rescue lies in the hands of her estranged father, Dr. Finn Maddern, a renowned mycologist.

Don’t waste your credit
Revisado: 02-12-24
I’m not usually one to leave low-rating reviews, because usually there’s some decent-something to write about, but let’s just say you’ll be proofreading it for the author if you waste your time on it, cuz he sure didn’t

Historia
Bin-Er is a city ruled by corrupt shang merchants who have become resentful of the mercurial Earth King and his whims. To extract themselves from his influence, the shangs have one solution in mind: a mysterious weapon of mass destruction that would place power squarely in their hands. As Yangchen and Kavik seek to thwart the shangs’ plan, their unlikely friendship deepens. But for Yangchen to chart her course as a singularly powerful Avatar, she must learn to rely on her own wisdom above all else.

I feel the author has way too many stops. Like after each sentence, the audio comes full stop.
Revisado: 08-09-23
Sounds like an Ai Voice reading the book, it’s so disappointing - nothing flows together from verse to verse.. I’m listening to speed x1.2 just to get to a remotely reasonable speed.. I typically like to stay positive on my review, but feel like I could enjoy the book soooo much better without this type of narration.

Great Continuation of the story! Relisten Often
Revisado: 04-29-23
This is a great example of what a sequel should be, with just as much, if not more depth than the first book. So much happens though out this 2-part audiobook that it truly feels like the 2nd and 3rd books rather than just the 2nd book 📖
A+ highly recommend

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Fantastic. Throughly Enjoyed the Listen, Probably the best adaptation to Audio ever.
Revisado: 01-07-23
Firstly let’s get the ONLY negative thing out the way: - Slightly meh ending (but I’m not complaining)
Now for the Positives:
- Great Story, Seriously, it was very well thought-out. When I’m some parts where I was thinking “dang that’s a plot hole”, literally 10 mins later it turned out to be a major part of the overall story! Like, Mind-Blown.
- Great Acting, enjoyed the reading, and the voices, there aren’t any terrible sounding characters or anything like that
Honestly it coulda kept going for like 1 more hour and made a sublime book but oh well I guess 🤷🏼♂️
I have more to say but don’t wanna add spoilers so ima stop typing now 😅

Off to the next Zone!
Revisado: 10-10-22
Felt a bit of a story correction in the beginning, but it was probably for the best as I felt it helped speed things up from the direction the last book had headed towards.. Overall another solid edition leaving me excited for what’s coming!!
Enjoyed mixing it up with a love interest; almost double-agent version of will-they won’t-they.. although my biggest complaint would have to be the voice they gave “president musk” and I don’t know if this would go towards the voice actor or the writer, but sufficed to say that he didn’t stammer at all, he had a very confident voice, and I feel like they missed it there lol
Also the ending was kinda meh, I’m glad it ended on an up-swing but after enjoying the last ending that seemed to “knock him down a peg” so to speak.. I was hoping he’d have a downright epic move to make in this ending.. not to say it wasn’t epic, I just felt like if he’d even planned or expected what happened to happen, it would’ve been a bit better read? If that makes sense without spoilers? 🤷🏼♂️ just my thoughts on it. But dang I’m ready for the next zone 🦾 let’s gooooo!

Revisado: 08-25-22
There’s was a couple times I thought I had it figured out but it just kept showing me how out-classed I was in the hands-down greatest display of story-bending I’ve had the pleasure of reading.
The way it ended had me craving more, thank the heavens there’s a book 2 .. going listen now lol
