It is a common misconception among many people that the wealthy wear designer clothes, drive expensive cars, and enjoy the luxurious lifestyle. Through this audiobook, Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko share with us the key habits of millionaires that allowed them to build the wealth that they did, and also teaches us how to use our valuable resource of time, energy, and money efficiently.

Historia
This is the way the world ends...for the last time. It starts with the great red rift across the heart of the world's sole continent, spewing ash that blots out the sun. It starts with death, with a murdered son and a missing daughter. It starts with betrayal, and long dormant wounds rising up to fester. This is the Stillness, a land long familiar with catastrophe, where the power of the Earth is wielded as a weapon. And where there is no mercy.

especially love the footnotes!
Revisado: 10-17-18
I especially love the footnotes and projected throughout the story. it made me wonder how much of these footnotes were actually true or just interesting tidbits to make the story more interesting

Historia
Shocking and controversial when it was first published in 1939, Steinbeck's Pulitzer prize-winning epic The Grapes of Wrath remains his undisputed masterpiece. Set against the background of Dust Bowl Oklahoma and Californian migrant life, it tells of Tom Joad and his family, who, like thousands of others, are forced to travel west in search of the promised land. Their story is one of false hopes, thwarted desires, and broken dreams, yet out of their suffering Steinbeck created a drama that is intensely human, yet majestic in its scale and moral vision.

The narrator is sooo boring
Revisado: 09-22-15
Would you try another book from Donald McCaig and/or John Bedford Lloyd?
The narrator did not help the story. I think the story was pretty bad too.I don't recommend listening to this right after reading or listing to "Gone with the Wind"; which was just amazingly written and read!If I get really bored I will attempt another book by Donald McCaig. But most definitely not a book read by John Bedford Lloyd.
Has Rhett Butler's People turned you off from other books in this genre?
Yes it has. It wasn't very smart or eloquent.
What didn’t you like about John Bedford Lloyd’s performance?
He was just so monotone in moment that should have been interesting.
What character would you cut from Rhett Butler's People?
Taz, Andrew Ravinell, Lisa
