So when a drive-by shooting on the Chicago's west side turns political, he leads the way to a quick solve. Entertaining Story For A Sequel
Revisado: 01-11-24
Sequels aren’t easy, but this was done well and enjoyable. The comedy and crime are a unique blend in a story. I find it entertaining and refreshing.

Historia
At first, Logan Ramsay isn’t sure if anything’s different. He just feels a little . . . sharper. Better able to concentrate. Better at multitasking. Reading a bit faster, memorizing better, needing less sleep. But before long, he can’t deny it: Something’s happening to his brain. To his body. He’s starting to see the world, and those around him—even those he loves most—in whole new ways. The truth is, Logan’s genome has been hacked. And there’s a reason he’s been targeted for this upgrade.

Interesting Read
Revisado: 11-25-22
Worth the read because it’s a unique story, but it’s nothing profound. Still a good book. Crouch is close, but he’s no Michael Chrichton. His story’s have the potential but there’s still a gap between the two in this genre.

Never got into it, not worth it
Revisado: 09-08-22
A who done it mystery that is way too long and rather uninteresting. SPOILER.. and the killer is someone you aren’t introduced to until the very end. No opportunity to even guess what’s going on. There a few moments where the book has momentum, but overall the story is lacking. A crazed kidnapper from 19 years ago in your life. Just doesn’t make sense.

Seems like a stretch
Revisado: 07-26-22
Ready player 1 seemed impossible but somehow believable. Not the case in ready player 2. Tasks that have taken years now have to be completed in 12 hours? Not realistic at all, story wasn’t all that interesting. Not a great sequel. Same great characters but this one fell short for me.

Decent, but not my type
Revisado: 01-26-22
The crime itself, though incredibly unrealistic is interesting. There are parts where you are alert and want to keep listening, but the the teenage, small town drama is more than half than book. You want to scream at the adults to grow up and get over their small town trash. No way in hell would the characters get duped like that in real life. Did the police even investigate? I finished the book but it’s not a must listen.

On the edge of your seat… until the ending flops.
Revisado: 12-31-21
This was enjoyable. Still worth a listen in my opinion because it’s unique and short enough to not waste your time. However this fascinating story comes to a crashing conclusion all in the span of 10 minutes or so. Feels extremely rushed as if the writers had 1 day to conclude this project. Would have been a memorable price if the conclusion was better.

The only clue left behind is a tiny bladed robot, nearly invisible to the human eye. In the lush forests of Oahu, groundbreaking technology has ushered in a revolutionary era of biological prospecting. Trillions of microorganisms, tens of thousands of bacteria species, are being discovered; they are feeding a search for priceless drugs and applications on a scale beyond anything previously imagined.

Not captivating
Revisado: 08-23-18
I love Crichton books. Arguably my favorite author but this particular book just didn’t do it for me. I was never immersed into the world that the characters were in, never felt engaged with the story. Much better books by this author.

Historia
A Tale of Two Cities is one of Charles Dickens's most exciting novels. Set against the backdrop of the French Revolution, it tells the story of a family threatened by the terrible events of the past. Doctor Manette was wrongly imprisoned in the Bastille for 18 years without trial by the aristocratic authorities.

Never really made sense
Revisado: 06-06-18
This book is confusing and rather boring to be honest. I wanted to read because of the historical significance of the book but there were so many characters and unnecessary details that it became difficult to listen. I finished the book, but it wasn’t easy.
