I love how the author personifies his dogs. The little girl’s behavior seemed a bit older than five. Overall,I really enjoyed the book.

Have a hard sleeping? Then listen to this book. Nothing ever happens. It chronicles time spent between the teen and his guardian, neither of whom like to talk much. I enjoyed other books by the same author.

Almost as good as Domestic Goddess
Revisado: 07-27-16
I really enjoyed this book. I must admit that I tired of the shopaholic series. It's nice to have something different yet in the tone of Domestic Goddess.

You might want to read this book
Revisado: 03-27-15
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I might add a little more suspense - it didn't keep me on the edge of my seat.
What didn’t you like about Tanya Eby’s performance?
Very annoying. The narrator had the same dragged out inflection on the last word of every other sentence (almost).
Do you think Heartbreaker needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Already part of a series.

Buy the Book - Don't Listen
Revisado: 11-20-14
Where does Hide'n Go Seek rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I have enjoyed this series of books. I would rank it in the 55% - 75% of the best audiobooks I have listened to and I have been a member since 2000. That's a lot of books!
What did you like best about this story?
Even though the main character was physic the author kept it a bit low key. This made the story more believable in my opinion. We all have probably had an experience when our other senses might have forewarned us led to to call someone just when they needed.
How could the performance have been better?
Her cadence remained the same regardless of the situation. No sense of urgency or fear intoned. Also the sounds she made when the author said someone laughed, chuckled or snorted sounded the same and so contrived it made me wince.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Not particularly.

Historia
If driving a piece-of-crap tow truck through the seediest part of town with a Smith & Wesson beside her means putting a roof over her son’s head, then Samantha Jones is going to be the best damn repo woman on the books. The streetwalkers, the drug pushers, the bands of looking-for-trouble punks haunting the mean streets at midnight don’t intimidate her. These are her people. The guy she finds bound and bloodied in the trunk of her latest conquest, a flashy new BMW, is a different breed entirely.

Dragging Descriptions
Revisado: 02-13-13
What did you like best about Shiver? What did you like least?
I have read and listened to many books from Karen Robards and enjoyed them. This book has good elements of suspense and action but she goes into these long drawn out descriptions that slow the story and bore me to tears. I want to finish it but don't think I can stand anymore narrative. It feels like she was trying to add more pages to her book by repeating how the main characters are feeling over and over again. If you want to kill some time I would suggest this book.

Narrator annoyance
Revisado: 09-25-10
The book was pretty good but the narrator was totally annoying. Her male voices and attempts to speak in New York accents made this book almost unbearable to listen to. I am glad to see the next book has a different narrator.

Over Cooked
Revisado: 07-03-09
The story is okay - not one of her best. The worst part is the narration, she takes the most normal sentence and tries to make it sound incredible. For example - in a voice the conveys breathless unbelief "he even had plastic plates and forks!!!" Big deal - they were on a picnic of course he had plates - yeesh!

Appropiate title for a wreck of a book
Revisado: 10-19-08
I like Dillon & Savage books by Coulter but this one bombed big time! The dialog was lame, in the middle of a conversation one character would just say something on a completely different subject - this happened a lot. The main character kept going on an on about what she thought her father would have done - she only knew him for a few weeks - how would she have known what he would of done? The romance between her and Jack was contrived and weak. Don't waste your credit on this book.

S is for Slow
Revisado: 01-16-06
I thought this book dragged on way to long without much excitement. There were too many characters who were introduced with brief stories. Later you had to recall all about them to follow the story line. The villian must have been busy in another book because he/she (no hints) only caused Kinsey a small amout of grief - once or twice until the end. You may be better off to get the abridged version. As a Grafton fan I was dissapointed in this latest release.
