Primarily a discourse on how AI could change the world, why religion is dumb and many hours of listening to an author enamored with his own intelligence.

This book started off really well - countering some of the unhealthy approaches to sex and marriage roles that have been prevalent in the church for the past 3 or 4 decades. For anyone mired in the shame or impossible expectations set forth through movements within the purity culture, there are some helpful reframing questions and answers. Towards the end of the book however, there are some pretty extreme positions and accusations that can have a dangerous applications for couples who are working towards a better marriage. Reading this book could cause couples to take drastic, unbiblical steps based on advice that is very one sided. I would NOT recommend reading this book without first understanding that many of the opinions expressed are reactionary and not helpful towards conflict resolution. The authors seem very willing to label some challenges within marriage as 'abusive' or throw out allegations of rape without enough context to define these terms. I think this book as a companion with other, more biblical marriage books, along with the help and guidance of counselors can have some positive impact, especially in understanding a woman's needs and recognizing the harm that purity culture has caused for many wives. This book, taken at face value, with no other resources could lead to some serious damage within marriages that are already struggling.
