Historia
Monsters and beasts roamed the earth and were slain by soldiers and adventurers who were, in turn, killed by stronger threats. Heroes and villains created new epics and were forgotten when their successors appeared. This was the way of the Infinite World. Summoned into this chaotic place, a young boy with no name and no past must learn to survive. Bound to a master who doesn't care whether he lives or dies, he must become stronger. The question is: how?

I really liked the narrator!
Revisado: 05-05-22
A narrator can kill a story faster than you can shake a fist. I liked this story. Well paced and easy to understand, which can not be said for a lot of these type of books. The characters were the kind that you come attached to and don't want the story to end. Back to the narrator. This is a good one. He brought the characters to life with inflection and individual voices that remained identifiable thru out the story. I need book two!! lol

Historia
The last time Olivia Martingale saw Menwin it was in Brussels on the eve of Waterloo. She had loved him then, but her love was not returned. Instead she yielded to the insistent Lord John Temperer, married him, and was left a widow. With the war at last over, visiting John’s family seemed like a good idea. But John’s brother the Duke disliked her; John’s mother wanted to match-make for her… and into the middle of all this walked Menwin, filling the room with his presence. Olivia felt the old attraction rising again - until Menwin looked right through her as if she was not even worth noticing.

I think the narrator needs a dictionary ;)
Revisado: 11-07-20
I truly enjoyed this book. The narrator did a wonderful with different voices for all the different people. However she mispronounced so many words, that it pulled me out of the story every time. The characters were pretty well rounded and their personalities were very evident. I love this author by the way. I like the way she thinks.

I hope Rachel is pouring her heart into another story for us! I loved Coleen's narration! This is a wonderful heart warming story, of love and loss and so much more. I got so attached to the characters and I will miss them sooo much! This is a must read. Rachel has a wonderful way of creating a world in which her characters can grow and you can go along for the ride. And yes! I want more!

With characters and an environment you come to know and love. With added stories with people you meet along the way. The narrator has a pleasing and pretty versatile voice. You get sucked in wondering what will happen next, along with humor and romance.

What?
Revisado: 04-05-18
I didn't actually hear very much of this book. The story looked really good, however, I was unable to focus in on the story. The narrator spoke way too soft and fast to really be able to understand her. It could also be that because she is English and so with the softness of her voice and how quickly she speaks, because I am an American, I was unable to hear what she was saying. Too bad. But again it looks like a really good story and I will probably look this one up as a kindle read. Try it out for yourself and see.

All in all a great story
Revisado: 04-02-18
This is like an alter universe that I would like to live in. The romance was great, a bit graphic but not bad. The narrating was very good, the accents were consistent so as not to draw you away from being immersed in to the story. All in all a pleasure to listen to.

Soooo disappointed
Revisado: 08-27-16
I have read this series probably 15 times. I own the whole set and love them. I have no idea why they changed narrators, but Linton, in my opinion, was the wrong choice. He sounds like a TV announcer, and you can't tell who is speaking. Cameron oft times got his accents mixed up in the reading of the series, but you always knew who was speaking. He helped to bring the already unforgettable characters to life. And he had Belgarath's personality down. I could not even make it thru the first chapter of this book. Linton may be a good narrator for other types of books but not Eddings (in my opinion).
