Historia
When the Moore family rescues a tiny kitten from certain death, they have no idea that he will grow up to become a very special cat. Wolfie, as they name him, has all of the quirks common to his species, except for just one little detail: Wolfie is a time traveler. Whenever and wherever he travels, he brings his humans with him. What could be better than a time-traveling cat who takes his family to the Wild West in the 1800s? Join the Moore children, Minna and Clayton, as they experience the Wild West as no two children have ever done before.

Very entertaining children's historical fiction.

So much more depth than the usual children's book. The author must be very well informed about the pioneer days.. Many interesting details about tools, skills and daily obstacles ..puts you right back in that era. Lots for both me and my granddaughter to learn from and to enjoy . Wolfie is magic , but doesn't solve everything for Mina and Clayton . I loved that the children worked hard and had to learn fast and be clever in their adventures. This book was a real pleasure..wish there were a sequel (my granddaughter was hoping there was a movie about Wolfie.. it would be a well received )
Great book for home or classroom reading.

I switched from the NY Times on Audible . So glad I did. My morning news is no longer tainted with opinions disguised as facts. Really appreciate the full - view reporting of the Wall Street Journal.

Historia
Young girls are coming through a pastoral upstate New York fishing village - but, they aren't all coming out alive! Following a close brush with death as an NYPD homicide detective, Matt Davis has taken early retirement, and accepted a position as Chief of Police in a small, rural upstate New York village. While out fishing on his favorite stream, he stumbles across the remains of a body, barely recognizable as human, killed approximately six months earlier.
