Distracting Narrator

The story was faithfully read with all the strengths and weaknesses we expect from Alcott but the narrator mispronounced so many words including technical, literary and common place vocabulary, that it was extremely distracting. Choose another of the several readings offered by Audible of both this book and Eight Cousins which provided similar assaults upon the ear.

What there was of it was fine but they left out the entire subplot of her previous boyfriend and Graysons
previous life as a security expert. They removed most of the interpersonal tension. They need to offer the original.
