excellent box set
Revisado: 07-25-23
I listen to these books individually. and I've got to say a box set is amazing. more than 50 hours for one credit, and the writer doesn't excellent job with the story, narrator does a really good job as well. you really can't ask for more bang for your buck. an enemy alien Armada on its way and rebels are the only ones ready to stop them. give this a listen if you like space. operas.

Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous.

great start to what's sure to be an amazing litrpg
Revisado: 07-20-23
I picked up this book on a whim, and I'm glad to say that I was not disappointed. disappointed. this is a Great start to what I am sure is going to be a great series. The stats are not so heavy that they bogged down the story. The main character is a little bit overpowered for most of the enemies he fights. but not completely overpowered compared to others out there. this is a great progression book and you can see the main character grow throughout the beginning of this series. I look forward to listening to book two.

Crafting no fighting
Revisado: 07-01-23
Cultivating is supposed to be fighting and exploring. Getting stronger and going on adventure. I look forward to fighting creatures and enemy cultivators. There's so little of this it's more like a slow crafting fantasy book with a little cultivation thrown in. It's well written if you like that kind of thing, and the narrator is fantastic as always. Just not my type of book I need action to keep me interest.

great story
Revisado: 06-09-23
this was a great story and was well written. it is litrpg so a lot is the trope but the author does well in not following the same old same old. this is not to crunchy or to full of stats to say, there's just enough to keep you up to date. this allows the storyline to unfold with limited interruptions. negative for me was the narrator, I am a ferm believer in the saying. a good narrator can make or brake an audiobook. this narrator struggled to breath emotion into the story, it wasn't to bad but it was noticable. not the worst I've heard and it doesn't kill the book, the story and development make up for the narrator.

good but
Revisado: 01-11-23
this is a good continuation from the first book. however I found myself still wishing for more detail, and the book just seems different. there wasn't as much action in this book as there was in the first book. almost felt like a filler episode, and show a little bit of progression in the story. this book felt like it was setting up the story for the third to be a good one. definitely worth listening to if you like the first book but it's not as good I have high hopes for the third book however.

surprisingly good
Revisado: 01-10-23
to be honest I got this as a free audible review. usually when I get free books for audible review they have quite a few downsides. that was not the case of this book. I've read several more listen to several space opras and this one is very good top 10. I'm about to start book two and I am genuinely looking forward to listening to it.. that's my personal opinion on the book I'll give you a couple details now. the book is very well written follow us on the linear path of storing progression. there are several action-packed battles, and other alien races. the narrator did a very good job at narrating, I have never heard this narrator before but was surprisingly good. my main downside to this book was the detail it was adequately detailed however I found myself wishing for more details on the aliens and the general surroundings. there was enough detail to get the point across but I would have liked a little more detail to form a better understanding of the surroundings. as is a common complaint about mail narrators he did not do a great job with female voices this could be said about female narrators as well but this is compensated in this book by the author always detailing who is speaking. so you may find yourself not being able to differentiate the female speaking at the moment through the narrator's voice but it is detailed who is speaking. if you are a fan of space fantasy sci-fi you will definitely want to get this book a shot, it's not my favorite genre but I still found this book captivating.

surprisingly good.
Revisado: 09-29-22
I'm going to be honest I got this as a free review book. now with that being said the book was surprisingly good. the story really moved along well and was well written the narrator did a pretty good job as well. there is a lot of action and all together and excellent storyline. now on to the negatives I do feel like the narrator could have been a little more involved in the book showing a little more emotion, but he does a good enough job to get the point across and it wasn't annoying to listen to. my other negative about this book would be there isn't much in depth in the characters. not a whole lot of backstory, and not a whole lot of growth. now with those few negatives out of the way the book is really good and I will definitely be continuing to series, and I highly suggest that if you like space fantasy sci-fi you definitely pick this up and give it a listen. has very good and diverse aliens and they're induction into alien society is very well thought out. so if you're looking for something interesting definitely give this a go.
