Historia
Four US Navy SEALS departed one clear night in early July 2005 for the mountainous Afghanistan-Pakistan border for a reconnaissance mission. Their task was to document the activity of an al Qaeda leader rumored to have a small army in a Taliban stronghold. Five days later, only one of those Navy SEALS made it out alive. This is the story of the only survivor of Operation Redwing, SEAL team leader Marcus Luttrell, and the extraordinary firefight that led to the largest loss of life in American Navy SEAL history.

Liked everything about it except for parts of the narration
Revisado: 12-16-20
Engaging story. I enjoyed hearing about what goes on behind the scenes while the SEALs are waiting for some action. The narration was okay, overall. I just did not like the parts where the narrator would overact—and read as if his voice was cracking and trembling under duress —in an effort to translate emotion of what he’s reading.

A must-listen for every man
Revisado: 12-20-19
Whether you’ve fully embraced or realized your masculine destiny or not, this audiobook will make you realize new perspectives and question the endless blabbering of the mainstream against men. Highly recommended for all men, especially boys who are about to become men. The narration is good, easy-to-listen to, and adds to the experience. It makes you feel like you’re listening to a trusted mentor.

An amazing listen!

It’s been a long time since I was this hooked to a story. I liked how the author himself read the book. It’s like hanging out with him and listening to him tell you his story over a couple of beers.

Father of cyberpunk William Gibson’s original script for Alien III, written in 1987 as a sequel to Aliens, never made it to our screens, although it went on to achieve cult status among fans as the third instalment that might have been after being leaked online. This terrifying, cinematic multicast dramatisation - directed by the multi-award-winning Dirk Maggs - is the chance to experience William Gibson’s untold story and its terrifying, claustrophobic and dark encounters between humans and aliens, as a completely immersive audio experience.

Epic SF!
Revisado: 12-04-16
Excellent narration. Story can get a bit hard to follow at times, with all its characters and plotlines, but it's very compelling nonetheless! Make sure you get the entire trilogy as this if just part 1. Definitely worth it!

Historia
In the 25th century, humankind has spread throughout the galaxy, monitored by the watchful eye of the U.N. While divisions in race, religion, and class still exist, advances in technology have redefined life itself. Now, assuming one can afford the expensive procedure, a person's consciousness can be stored in a cortical stack at the base of the brain and easily downloaded into a new body (or "sleeve") making death nothing more than a minor blip on a screen.

Narrator Is Annoyingly Hard To Understand
Revisado: 11-19-14
What did you like about this audiobook?
The topic is something I'm very interested in.
How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?
It would've if not for the narrator that sounded like a robot.
Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?
I guess; it's hard to tell because the narrator sounded like a robot.
What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?
The narrator sounded like a robot! I don't know if that's her fault or the production, but either way, her robotic voice and inflection made it impossible to concentrate on the book!
