Wow!
Revisado: 08-31-23
I LOVE this story and the narrator excellent. This was my third book by this author and he did not disappoint. You will like the main character and all of his sometimes " questionable " friends. The story will remind you of the old adage, "no good deed goes unpunished." Along with telling a good story, the author has a delicious sense of humor. Buy the book! You will not be disappointed. I put this author on my must read list. Walter Mosley move over, there's a new kid on the block and his name is S. A. Cosby. L. H. H.

Charming and thoughtful
Revisado: 07-01-23
The narrator's voice made listening easy and enjoyable. The storyline was interesting and believable from the beginning. The Earl was made sympathetic and loyal to his family even when they were most unlovable and I refer to his mother and his sisters. Regardless of the many romance books that I have enjoyed, I am still jolted by the English class system. A system that values class ranking over basic kindness. A system that makes everyone a prisoner in one form or another and making movement almost impossible. The story is warming to the soul and to know that in the end , love conquers all rogues. You will enjoy the read and feel that your time was well spent. I might also add, you can become motivated to continue the series and that to, is an indication of how well the storyline captives the reader's imagination. l.H.H

First time reading this author and loved her work. The author is a wonderful storyteller and holds the reader every minute and page of the story. You will love this story for its depth and understanding of what makes us love another person, flaws be dammed. The ending will make you smile and glad that love still exist. L. H. H

Historia
High adventure and dark mystery combine in a sparkling historical romance, by Jodi Taylor writing as Isabella Barclay from The Chronicles of St. Mary's. Bascombe, widowed and tied to an impoverished estate, has learned to ask little of life. With no hope of leaving, the years have passed her by. Lord Ryde, exiled abroad after a scandal, has returned to strip his estate and make a new start in America.

Loved the story and the witty dialogue. My first time reading this author but it will certainly not be the last. A fun story with just a hint of mystery. The kind of story that makes you smile for a story well told. L.H.H.

Beautiful Love Story For Those Who Love Romance
Revisado: 01-20-23
Love in Catalina Cove is a fun, feel good story. The story never, never lags and the people involved will make you love them, flaws and all. This is a story that I listened to with only brief pauses and with an eagerness for what happens next. I have read several books by this author and this is my favorite. The storyline is interesting and well written. To the author, a job well done..! The narrator is beautiful to listen to. The voice matches the story line in tempo and mood. A really great book for those who are romantic at heart.

Historia
Ike Randolph has been out of jail for fifteen years, with not so much as a speeding ticket in all that time. But a Black man with cops at the door knows to be afraid. The last thing he expects to hear is that his son Isiah has been murdered, along with Isiah’s white husband, Derek. Ike had never fully accepted his son but is devastated by his loss. Derek’s father Buddy Lee was almost as ashamed of Derek for being gay as Derek was ashamed his father was a criminal. Buddy Lee still has contacts in the underworld, though, and he wants to know who killed his boy.

Razor blade Tears is worth the read
Revisado: 04-09-22
Move over Walter Mosley, your competition has arrived in the person of S.A. Cosby. The story is fast paced and beautifully written. The dialogue is witty and full of insightful observations on life and on society in general and definitely on race, that ever present issue in American life. Through sharp dialogue, we are faced with our own shortcomings on how we treat each other and those that we view as different. The story never lagged and never predictable to the point that you knew what would happen next. The narrator, Adam Lazarus White was perfect. He is the example of the perfect reader , in tone and diction. He could read a menu and make you want to buy everything on. it. This book deserves five stars across the board. The reader will not regret the decision to purchase this book.☺😀
