I liked the content and learned several things I've implemented immediately. The main drawback of the book was the use or overuse of sports analogies and sports related quotes. I would have preferred more business examples and analogies. Overall, well written and well read by Dr. Saxena.

If you could sum up The Whole-Brain Child in three words, what would they be?
The book gives you options. Many constructive options that parents can use. Discipline is considered an opportunity to educate your children and let them acknowledge input to put to future use. I was raised with the typical "do it or else" I raised my oldest children that way, however, I realize that this way was uneducated and convenient. The younger children are experiencing the teachings of this book.
What did you like best about this story?
The breakdown of brain anatomy in simple terms of relation to our children at their various developmental stages.
What about Daniel J. Siegel and Tina Payne Bryson ’s performance did you like?
The readings of these two made it easy to listen to and one continued on to the other with important information very smoothly. I would liken their reading to a very good foreign language program. I was dreading the anatomy lesson, however, this was simple, useful, and fun.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The endless moments of "A-hah" or "man, I could have done better."

Great Book. Must have for all parents. You owe it to your kids!!!!!!!!
