Historia
In this thrilling narrative, O’Reilly blends primary, never-before-released interview material with a history that recounts Trump’s childhood and family and the factors from his life and career that forged the worldview that the president of the United States has taken to the White House. Not a partisan pro-Trump or anti-Trump book, this is an up-to-the-minute, intimate view of the man and his sphere of influence.

Meh!
Revisado: 09-28-19
I will say that O'Reilly does a great job of being balanced, and he covers the President in such a way that if you have not followed politics at all the last 3 years and are only now just looking into Trump it is a good book.
I am a Trump supporter from day one and pretty much knew everything he discussed already.
I feel like he skipped over alot of information and was expecting more information about the President's personality and what goes on more behind the scenes.
I also think he left out alot of key moments of the last couple years such as his relationships with Sara Huckabee Sanders treatment and other key moments.
I think the narrator did a HORRIBLE job trying to do Trumps voice, he would have been better off not imitating it at all.
Overall not a bad book, but I'm not super impressed with this book compared to many of the others Bill O'reilly has written.

Historia
Captain Liz Clark spent her youth dreaming of traveling the world by sailboat and surfing remote waves. When she was 22, she met a mentor who helped turn her desire into reality. Embarking on an adventure that most only fantasize about, she set sail from Santa Barbara, California, as captain of her 40-foot sailboat, Swell, headed south in search of surf, self, and the wonder and learning that lies beyond the unbroken horizon.

Excellent Story
Revisado: 05-26-19
The overall story is good, written with good intentions and an impressive self reflection but I feel like it could have done without so much bleeding heart liberal talking points.
I like her ability to pinpoint the things in her life she dislikes from her propensity to be greedy to her desire to save the world and try to change these things by example. Not necessarily preaching about peoples everyday lives in contrast to hers.
Story of self reflection and self discovery and her journey to remake herself and better herself in ways I think should be an example for most people.
She pinpoints many environmental issues, some I agree with but most i completely disagree with.
I certainly wasnt expecting a environmentalist story, and was mildly put off by it, but I'll admit she weaves it all together in way that doesnt come off as smug and condescending.
I would read it again.

So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. What an incredibly well told story this is.
Took me a few tries to get interested and then i was hooked.
listened to whole book in 2 days, the story of Kaya was just heartbreaking with many triumphs and victories along the way. I was captivated by her character and rooted for her to the end.
This is a must read!

Historia
In December 2017 the famous porn star August Ames committed suicide in a park in the Conejo Valley. It happened a day after she’d been the victim of a pile-on, via Twitter, by fellow porn professionals - punishment for her tweeting something deemed homophobic. A month later, August’s husband, Kevin, connected with Jon Ronson to tell the story of how Twitter bullying killed his wife. What neither Kevin nor Ronson realized was that Ronson would soon hear rumors and secrets hinting at a very different story - something mysterious and unexpected and terrible.

Good!
Revisado: 01-04-19
I enjoyed the story, shed alot of light on the mental stability of August and the demons she must have been battling.
My only criticism was that I thought he could have used more witnesses and possibly mental health experts.
Sad and unfortunate story.

Excellent book, very well written which captures the angst and musing of teenagers.
While it is a sad story I can hear myself and my friends in this story.
Your view of the world at that age is small compared to adulthood, you find yourself romanticizing the strangest things. The girls you had crushes on during that time were viewed as mystical creatures rather than human beings who most likely felt the same way you did about you or someone else.
Great book, brought back tons of memories from my youth..

Book was too slow for me at 15 and I must have skipped large portions of it because the book was so much better this time around, lots of stuff I dont remember from back then.
Outstanding book and I was bummed out that it ended.
The movie was good but it fell well short of the book!

Awe and exhilaration—along with heartbreak and mordant wit—abound in Lolita, which tells the story of the aging Humbert Humbert's obsession for the nymphet Dolores Haze. Lolita is also the story of a hypercivilized European colliding with the cheerful barbarism of postwar America.

I can see why this book has been known as one of the literary greats .
The narrator did an amazing job.
The story it'self is quite controversial, but very well writen, and parts of it were hard to listen to, but i guess that's part of the draw of this story.
I will listen to again at some point to try to find things I missed the first time.

Historia
Political writer and official RNC spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany spent months traveling throughout the United States conducting interviews with Americans whose powerful and moving stories were forgotten or intentionally ignored by our leaders. They discussed their deeply personal stories and the issues that are most important to them, such as illegal immigration. The New American Revolution chronicles both the losses of these grassroots voters as well as their ultimate victory in November 2016.

I really enjoyed the insiders perspective to the Trump Campaign, great stories, I only wish there was more of them.
My only complaint about this audio book is that the narrator read the book with voices that made the President sound like a villain! Other than that it's a great book!

Published in 1945, Cannery Row focuses on the acceptance of life as it is: both the exuberance of community and the loneliness of the individual. Drawing on his memories of the real inhabitants of Monterey, California, Steinbeck interweaves the stories of Doc, Henri, Mack and his boys, and the other characters in this world where only the fittest survive, to create a novel that is at once one of his most humorous and most poignant works.
