Historia
In a boarded-up house on a dead-end street at the edge of the wild Washington woods lives a family of three. A teenage girl who isn’t allowed outside, not after last time. A man who drinks alone in front of his TV, trying to ignore the gaps in his memory. And a house cat who loves napping and reading the Bible. An unspeakable secret binds them together, but when a new neighbor moves in next door, what is buried out among the birch trees may come back to haunt them all.

Historia
Some people greet the day with open arms. Sheriff Sunshine Vicram would rather give it a hearty shove and get back into bed, because there’s just too much going on right now. There’s a series of women going missing, and Sunny feels powerless to stop it. There’s her persistent and awesomely-rebellious daughter Auri, who’s out to singlehandedly become Del Sol’s youngest and fiercest investigator. And then there’s drama with Levi Ravinder—the guy she’s loved and lusted after for years. The guy who might just be her one and only.

Titles Out of Order - Disappointed
Revisado: 10-14-21
When I started listening to this book I thought possibly I was listening to the wrong one or that audible had accidentally put the wrong book in this title. I kept thinking I had already listened to this story, but knew I had just ordered it. I decided to look at the reviews to see if others felt the same way and they confirmed my thoughts. "The Infirmary" should be listed as the first in the series. You can imagine my disappointment when the story jumps back 5 years and we already know the final outcome, Not all the characters we now know are included because they are introduced in later books, and many of the relationships between the ones in this story have changed. I am so over 'The Butcher' and want to continue where the story leaves off in book 10. I'm going to ask for a refund and reconsider ordering any more books in this series. I enjoyed the characters and the story line, but can only take so much of one villain.

Historia
Vermont newspaper editor Cozie Hawthorne is astounded by the money she makes when her collection of Yankee essays becomes a best seller. But that doesn't mean she'll let success go to her head: She still drives a rusted Jeep and lives in a house - built in 1790 - that seems more amenable to bats than it does interesting men.

The narrator is horrible
Revisado: 01-07-21
The main female character sounds like a librarian with a stick up her ass and the main male character sounds like a third grader. I couldn’t get more than half way thru the book and had to quit.

In this superb novel, originally published in 1977, Fritz Leiber explores the concept of "paramentals." Leiber makes his definitive statement on alienation within the urban environment and the capacity of concrete, steel, and glass to suck up miseries and spew forth monsters.

WTF
Revisado: 05-02-19
This has got to be the worst audible book I have listened to. the superfluous language was continuous, the story line was all over the place and hard to follow. I listened to the end to find a storyline but never found it. there was no development of characters or story. This is the worst audible book I have bought.

I never choose young readers books for myself and picked this off the Audible Originals free monthly selections. Once I started listening I was hooked. The story was fast paced and fun, the heroine and her friends came to life, and the narrator was fabulous. I truly enjoyed this book!

The Graveyard book is a sweet growing up story
Revisado: 10-22-18
It’s seams strange to say this is a sweet story when it has spirits and vampires and ghouls involved. But it is truly a story about family and Love and issues we all face, with an interesting story line. I found myself sobbing at the end of the story. Thank you Neil Gaiman for this little piece of genius l.

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Can't quit thinking about it
Revisado: 01-01-12
What did you love best about 11-22-63?
I loved the way the characters were developed, I felt like they were a part of my life. In addition, since I was born in 1959, it was really fun to hear about life in those days.
What about Craig Wasson’s performance did you like?
Craig did a wonderful job with all of the diferent voices. As he changed his tone and inflection for a character I could picture them.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes!! But with 30 hours worth of listening there was no way! I did listen to this every chance I had though, and went thru the book quicker than I wanted to.
Any additional comments?
This book has had a haunting effect on me. I can't stop thinking about the characters, especially the two main characters. I can't tell you more without giving away the story. I strongly recommend this book.
