Fantastic Piece Of Writing
Revisado: 02-15-25
Completely brilliant. Wow. This novel touches on some deep topics that are not taken seriously enough in the society that we are in today and this piece brings all of those things front and center. Beautifully written and magnificently done. Just wow.

Historia
Reese Walker doesn't like people. What she likes is silence and being left alone. The thing she loves most about recording audiobooks is that she doesn't have to leave her Chicago apartment to do it. And she hasn't for nearly a year. But with an unavoidable bill going to collections that puts her sister's treatment at risk, she has no choice but to take a job that pushes her out of her comfort zone. After a disastrous blow to her career, Arden Abbott needs a comeback.

Historia
In 1899 two women from very different backgrounds are about to embark on a journey together - one that will take them from the Old World to the New, from the 19th century into the 20th, and from the comfort and familiarity of England to the rigors of Western Canada, where challenges await at every turn. The journey begins simply for Kicker Stuart when she leaves her home village to take employment as hostler and farrier at Grindleshire Academy for Young Ladies. But when Kicker falls in love with a teacher, Madelyn Bristow, it radically alters the course of her tranquil life.

Great Story
Revisado: 02-10-25
A realistic and pleasant illustration of two women looking for a place of their own during the late 1800s. Little to no intimacy portrayed past your own imagination. This left a lot to be desired, but worth the good feel listen

Historia
Army Capt. Jordan Armstrong surrendered a piece of her soul to the burning sands of Afghanistan. Now back home, only two things keep her going: her demanding job as a Search and Rescue pilot and sailing her 45-foot yacht around the coast of McKinley Point, Western Australia-alone. Plenty of women have tried to reach behind her walls, but Jordan remains aloof. When American expat Sara Matthews shows up in her life and takes an instant dislike to her, it sets her heart on fire. Good Stuff, Not for the faint of heart
Revisado: 02-07-25
Very good story. However, the end didn’t have to go the way it did. It didn’t make any sense the way things took place. People had no place being somewhere and going somewhere that was dangerous and not apart of their job description especially when the appropriate team was already there like seriously what he pained didn’t need to happen at all. I understand that in life bad things happen, but c’mon it should’ve have happened. So I am pretty upset about ur all that. But the love two people share for each other is a beautiful things especially when two people just click they just work so well together and they truly get each other. That’s the most beautiful thing about this story. Uh, why can’t we just have things work out the way they should’ve? Why do we need major unnecessary grievances? Okay but definitely worth a listen

Historia
Sutton Spencer's ideas for her life were fairly simple: finish graduate school and fall in love. It would be a lot simpler if she could pinpoint exactly what she should do when she graduates in less than a year. Oh, and if she could figure out how to talk to a woman without feeling like a total mess, that would be great, too. Charlotte Thompson is very much the opposite.

Huff Puff Big Boy
Revisado: 08-21-24
So much of Felix huffing and puffing during sexual scenes it’s just gross… Yet the sexy duo Hope and Lidia get no sex scenes it’s total bullshit. We got one hot kiss the last book and in this one we got nothing. Also, they supposedly are so in love with each other but there’s no intimacy displayed. Their relationship was one of the reasons I was really excited about this series. We have this strong female character Darcy who seems to only embody sex on a stick when she first fucks Feducia and I’m glad that she knew Darcy was a fake I mean it was so obvious. Women are different from men writers they know things on a supernatural level their discerning. So her lover having the same moves in bed shouldn’t have been enough to convince her. It’s about what’s behind the eyes when it comes to women. The silent knowing, the extension of two souls into one. Not saying it’s more it’s simply something else entirely beyond the physical. Writers seem to teeter at the edge of a great friendship with oh we like each other two with these two women. But there’s so much more these young women are capable of if only they were allowed to show it. To express their affections. It’s there beneath the story: it’s the relationships and their bonds that draws a good story together. Enough of the hefty breaths from big boy Felix. Some women like weak men with his wimp like groaning but most women just like good ole strong sexy men like Roak. It’s so annoying to have so much a passionate couple like Hope and Lidia and get nothing then Darcy and Felix I c’mon spare us. At least we got a real man sex scene with Darcy and Roak now that felt right and I wanted them to make out when he ran into Darcy’s arms at the end lol. But sadly no we get some I it of shape dude who friable stayed with his mom and had a bunch of plants when the world ends as Darcy live interest instead of a sexy man or woman and poor Hope and Lidia with so much sex appeal barely get one freaking kiss in wtf!!!! Look whoever the masagnistic ass is directing the writing of these love scenes needs a kick in the ass. Fuck your Hetero rhetoric bullshit Felix zero Lidia ten and that’s just facts. Give us more Hope and Lidia no more huff and puff Felix he should just be a bag boy but some sad writer wanted his fantasies lived out so here we are.

Historia
Motion picture producer Selena Ryan has the impossible: Fame and fortune and her integrity. Her reputation for playing fair in an industry rife with games has earned her respect from other producers, writers, and actors. She's learned the lesson that plenty of people would like to use her to get what they want - a starring role or some other way into the movies. Burned badly by actress Jennifer Lamont, who used her and left her with a devastating aftermath, she's wary of everyone related to the industry.

Big Tease
Revisado: 08-20-24
More than half way through the book the characters begin pining for each other. At the beginning the main character says the other main character is plain looking then all of a sudden now she’s attractive like what is that? And why is that a reoccurring theme in a lot of these books. I just don’t get it. I understand people’s opinions change over time but someone can’t miraculously become cute all of a sudden. When I like someone I know right away so I just don’t get it and it has nothing to do with being beautiful. We’ve all had beautiful friends that we didn’t sleep with because we saw them as a friend and that’s it so it’s not just about looks it’s about a connection something they didn’t have but then all of a sudden at the end of the book they have a connection. Also, there is no sex in this book so sorry if you were hoping for a love scene in a romance novel who would’ve thought. And this book ends so abruptly it’s insane. Too bad if you actually wanted to know how these two characters actually ate together we don’t get to experience that either… I mean this story was really hard for me to get through. I put it down multiple times but needed something to fall asleep to so I kept listening then it got interesting at the end with the inside look of Hollywood film life. So in sum no sex, no real connection, just a movie a guy and a conniving ex. Uh it was truly a waste of time. I feel so empty after reading this :(

Letting go is not a process that comes naturally to us. In a world that teaches us to cling to what we love at all costs, there is an undeniable art to moving on - and it's one that we are constantly relearning. In this series of honest and poignant essays, Heidi Priebe explores the harsh reality of what it means to let go of the people and situations we love most - often before we are ready to - and how to embrace what comes next.

I thought this would be a generalization of Letting Go not a specific focus on love list. It was well written and the voice stress was excellent. Just not was I was looking for, but enjoyed the read nonetheless.

Didn’t Think I Would Like This One
Revisado: 07-15-24
This is a romance that you wonder how on earth is this going to work. I don’t like either of the main characters that much at first. Steph was cool of course l, but Rey being a cop and all was just very uncool… So stringent so I wasn’t rooting for this romance, but in a way in the end it just kind of worked. This is one that really sneaks up on you.

Wow
Revisado: 07-10-24
Best book series I’ve ever read. It’s so real and I know a lot of women can relate specifically to Ashley. Religion, the fear do what others may be saying about you, wanting to live up to your parents expectations. Hiding yourself, being in the closet and not living your life to the fullest potential and shutting out all happiness. It’s a rollercoaster that we go through, but I’m so pleased with the light at the end of that very dark tunnel. I hope everyone reading this finds that kind light, that kind of hope, that kind of love.
